OH MY GOD.
SPEAKING TO A ROADIE FRIEND OF MINE EARLIER ABOUT THE MOST HAUNTED LIVE TO START TOMORROW,
I AM DISGUSTED THAT ONCE AGAIN YVETTE FIELDING IS CARRYING ON WITH HER SHALLOW APPROACH TOWARDS THE PARANORMAL
THE SHOW IS ACTUALLY CALLED THE SEARCH FOR EVIL AND NOW USING SAME MEDIUMS AND HISTORIANS AS LAST TIME WHICH AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED WERE OBVIOUSLY CHOSEN FROM LOCAL DRAMA SCHOOLS COS THEIR PERFORMANCES WERE SO MADE UP, SHE IS PUTTING STRONGER EMPHASIS ON THE DEMONOLOGY, QUIJA, AND WITCHES SPELLS, IN WHICH ME, BEING A WICCAN INSULTS ME VERY VERY MUCH. SHE HAS NO CONCEPT ON WHAT THE PENTAGRAM SYMBOLISES, SHE CHANTS HEXES.WHAT THE F**K
ANY THOUGHTS ON THIS
TAKEN FROM THEWEBSITE
Most Haunted Live: The Search for Evil
Seven nights from 10th JanuaryIn a seven-night supernatural thrill-fest, the Most Haunted team of mediums and ghost hunters will be mounting an unprecedented search, across a variety of locations, for answers from beyond the veil of the spirit world. For each of the first six nights, they’ll be looking for a spirit or supernatural occurrence that corresponds to one of six different types, from poltergeists to pit ghosts. Equipped with their experience of these mystic entities, and with the energies that resonate from them, they will return to their original location on the seventh night. Here, they will attempt to contact the seventh type of ghost – the most powerful, and the most dangerous, of the spirits they will encounter.
This ground-breaking spiritualist investigation will see Yvette Fielding and her team of experienced parapsychologists, psychics, historians and investigators visit locations that would have most of us quaking in our boots. The huge, dank basement of a public building, famous for its poltergeist activity; a Victorian theatre in which a dark shape lurks in the wings; derelict buildings, once used as a military morgue, that resonate with the cries of unseen visitors; a country house built, so it is said, over the grave of a notorious Satanist: hardly the sorts of places any normal person would choose to spend the night...

Sad indeed. These thrill fests are hurting and helping. We can use these oportunities to set the record straight at times. |

yvette and her crew have been a joke since most haunted, dont take it personally, anyone who knows better knows that this kinda thing is mere entertainment for ratings value and nothing to do with actual events xxx |

As I said many times, these are "Made for TV" shows, they are for entertainment mostly, facts and such come second or third. I don't put any credit to them what so ever. |

I understant completely that this show is made for tv though, but what scares me, is the things she does in them are not to be taken for entertainment purposes, because you always get an idiot who watches these shows thinking "OH, thats what I got to do to see if there is a ghost in my house" blah blah blah and then they end up dabbling in something which they dont understand. I stopped watching the last most haunted live after the first two nights because she was creating a salt cirle of protection chanting satan based chants, putting a crucifix as a trigger object on the table and yet using the pentagram for extra protection. |

then perhaps someone should put a complaint in to where ever deals with that sort of thing hun, im sure your not the only one who has concerns about how they conduct themselves in front of the public and what affects it may have on them.
but unfortunately they are coverd by the disclaimer of entertainment value only, which basically gives them the right to do as they please within reason xxx |

I think that you should NOT mess around with things which you do not understand. I am sure we have all been bitten in the past (I know I have) but it's usually when messing around with friends, not on national television.
Yvette should stop 'playing' and start listening to the dangers of meddling. I guess when you have a decent pay cheque rolling in, you don't really think about the dangers of misleading/offending people.
Let's just hope that for entertainments sake she doesn't perform a human sacrifice on hubby, live on air...on second thoughts... |

I agree with you all, mst haunted is a farce and YF has been caught out several times faking stuff, though it amazes me if you go on the most haunted forum they have a band of die hard fans who believe it is all true, and if you question it and voice your opinion that they are fakes you get attacked. Their current medium 'brian' is worse than useless and blaspheme in every sentence, he isn't nick named 'oh my god' for nothing |

I agree if only there were serious investigations on television, that lot make it up as they go along and make everyone who believes in the paranormal look like a nutter! |

I agree TAPS gets a lot of flack for "selling out" but let's be honest, if I were offered a massive amount of most wanted equipment to fund my hobby, I would do the same :) Its like hitting the lottery for them and I think they deserve it.
They also have good meathodology and GHI has also proven to have a more scientific approach which I greatly appreciate. |
