huh, you said on the clip(it was u wasnt it, the bloke in green top by computer) "long white type of clothing"(something like that).
the presenter passed it off as "short skirt."
huh typical misleading rubbish. 
soo annoying isnt it. |

There have been 3 types of alleged ghost seen there. 2 in 60's clothes and one in the typical Victorian smock or nightie.
I have also had an email from someone that lived up at the farm near the steps in the 70's. Apparently her house was haunted but she never saw anything. Things would move and she heard bangs and other noises etc. Apparently someone killed themselves in one of the tied cottages up there. I'm going to try and contact the farm owner and see if he can shed any light on it all. He has apparently seen the ghost of the girl over 25 times!!!??!!??!
I'll post the email that i got as soon as i get her permission.
We did do an investigation up there last night but not much happened. |

Just read your investigation report and while I'm also doubtful about orbs, it's strange that I got my first ever orb in the same location. Earlier this week I went there to make a preparatory survey and at the top of the stairs I tried to invoke the spirit of the girl specifically and asked her to stand at the bottom of the stairs (I could barely hear myself above the roar of the traffic). I took a few pictures and saw nothing on the screen, but viewing at home one picture showed an orb just over the safety barrier. There had been drizzle all day but I think it had just stopped, so no dust in the air.

As you can see on my pics i did have a fair few orbs in different places on the shot so it's not dust on the lens. Also it had been raining so there would not have been much dust about especially outside! Now i'm not a believer of orbs much but this is pretty interesting.

I'll answer you here because there's a point I want to make. Aside from the fact that Caterham is a 60 mile journey round the M25, for me the 'Most Haunted' style of ghost hunting achieves nothing. The sole purpose of trying to communicate with spirits should be to make them aware of their state and to move them on, and that should be left to those with the ability to do so.
This particular matter interests me because I see a real opportunity to capture high-quality video evidence, which may help with identification in what is likely to be an unresolved and probably unreported murder case. |

Yep! This is why we are actively investigating the site with a night vision camera. Also it seems the sight is an old battle ground so there may be more there than we think! I'll keep you posted! |

I'm currently gathering together what I consider to be the necessary equipment to expose this apparition, and hope to have it deployed this month.
Meanwhile I'm having trouble reconciling your sighting accounts with the position that you marked on the satellite picture on your site.
In one account you say that you had been on the bypass only few seconds when you sighted the girl, and that matches with the marked position, but in the same account you mention being near the 'footbridge', which is about 500m further north of the marked point.
On your site you say that you saw the girl about two thirds of the way up the bypass, which is also consistent with a location near the bridge but not the marked point.
From the bridge going southwards, the central barrier is un-crossable for a considerable distance, so if this was the area of your sighting, how did the girl appear to negotiate the barrier? |

Yes funnily enough i was looking at the pic yesterday and i think i got it wrong on the pic. I need to look at it again and try and remember where it was. I may need to re do the pic on the site.
