House Is Haunted

Ok so i deffo think that my house is haunted.

A while ago i was washing up and the tap was running at the SIDE of the bowl. There was noone else in the house and all the doors and windows are locked so i would know if anyone came in. I went into the room for a couple of seconds and when i returned to the kitched the tap was IN the bowl. Bear in mind there was only me in the house.

From then i have been experiencing some weird things. I hear noises on a night when im in bed and i see dark patches where there arent supposed to be any.

Also i tried to make contact about 20 mins ago and i asked the spirit if they could give me a sign if it was there. It took a while but my room door started opening and closing suddenly. So i asked it again if it could open the door and close it again. And it happened.

Unfortunatley my parents came in at that moment so i had to stop. But i was wondering should i continue to make contact and see why its there? i have an idea who it is but im not too sure. Or should i leave it be?

Adam, have your parents also experienced anything unusual?
Do you know the history of your house?

Looks like they are communicating with you by answering your request to open and close the door again.

How old are you?
(Poltergeist activity possibly?)

Well my dad isnt really a beleiver but my mum is. She has experienced a lot of paranormal things (more than me) she's seen many ghosts too. Yes i thought that too i wish i could of had longer to find out more.

Im 18 now and i was 13 when i started reasearching and doing the paranormal. Thats one theory, i dont beleive its a bad spirit though.

Welcome to the forums Adam. First, who do you think it is?
Second, you could try to see if it is this person by having them turn a small flashlight on. Ask:"if your (name) turn this flashlight on. Let's hope they can. I think they should be able to if they can open a door.

Thankyou YB and i think its my grandma who died of cancer 5 years ago. Whenever i feel sad or depressed i can feel a warming a loving presence around and thats what she was like.

Adam another thing you can try is to lay out pencil and paper and ask them a question,
see if they write out the answer.

I would suggest an EVP session, it would prob yield the best results for you. The flash light is a good idea as well just make sure they have to actually turn it on, that way there is no question as to what happened.

still not getting anything due to parents not been out :(

They went out last night and i tried again. I heard a noise that sounded like something falling. When i looked over to my sofa, the sofa cover had fallen from the chair arm onto the sofa. Im not sure if this was paranormal or not seen as i didnt see it. Think it was though.

I hope my parents go out again soon i think im making progress with this, ill let you guys know anything as soon as it develops.

i know how it is trying to make contact with ghosts with your parents around (you feel kind of silly) But keep up the good work

you could leave the computer open on a bit like "word" and see if they type anything?
