Hello everyone
Since losing my dad very suddenly 3 months ago we've had numerous white feathers appearing, a couple of very real noises, but the strangest thing was last week whilst mum was sat watching the birds through her back window (dad's favourite place) - she saw and heard what she described as very bright zig-zag light trying to get in through the window, twice. She said it looked as if someone was shooting a taser gun at the window but her back garden is private, and gated, and no other houses in sight - she said the sound was an electrical "cackle". It was daylight, but this light lit up the wall inside the house - any ideas please? I told her it was dad trying to get in... xx |

Hello Felix and welcome to the forum.
Sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad, my condolences.
Where are you finding these white feathers, in your home
or out in the garden?
The zig zag light and the cackle noise....by chance do you
have electric lines above your home?
Could it have possibly been two wires touching creating
an arc?
Then again maybe your Dad was letting you know all
was well.
Other members may have some other ideas or
explanations.
Please keep us posted!!

Hi Felix,
Sorry to hear about your dads sudden passing. When people pass away we tend to look for signs that tell us that the death of the person is not the end. If we're aware that things such as white feathers are a sign of some kind then we may notice them more in comparison to not even being aware they were around at other times.
I'm not doubting your mums sighting of something odd but there may be other far more logical explanations for it that need to be seriously considered and eliminated before a supernatural explanation can be considered.
Bitter has raised some pertinent questions and if you could supply some more information I'm sure we'd be more than happy to offer our opinions.
Of course it could be your dad trying to send a sign - we cannot rule out that possibility and if that explanation brings comfort to your mum then for the time being it may be more beneficial to see it as a sign from dad.
