I was a Boggy not soggy child .
Give me the child for seven years and I will give you the man is a quote attributed to the Jesuits who believed that a person’s belief system evolves within a child’s infancy and that a Jesuit upbringing would make the adult a confirmed Jesuit. Modern science validates this belief. Between gestation and six years of age, that which we hear, see and experience lays the foundation of our core beliefs about ourselves and the world.

Holy Smoke! You're not a raving Jesuit are you? My father narrowly missed being taught by them, thank God. I will not give my thoughts on the Catholic Church, (the faith his mother's and my Mum's mothers family were bought up in. Just in case there are any of that faith in these forums. I might offend sensitive people. |

As you well know Alex I'm an atheist. Don't worry about causing offence. If you can give you should be prepared to take

Give and take - you're right. I don't easily take offence [a door or a gate, usually ]. But, sometimes, my sense of humour can 'run away' a little.... And I ought to 'reign it in' a bit.... |

I went for a regression and it was pants. I sat there while a man talked to me, he talked and talked annnnddd talked and ..nothing. Then he said that I am one of those people who can not be put under? Interesting. Same thing happened at Butlins when I was young, I had to get off stage! I want to know more about this, but no one has been able to put me under. I do have a re-occuring dream about riding on a white horse and looking for a woman? Odd. and a couple of others. I was wearing half armour? odder... |

Mediums. I have to say Ive never mett what I could call a real medium. Ive met some famous ones. But to me theres more reading and telepathy there than recieving mesages from the dead I think. Ive analyised them and find that in a lot of cases they have the correct information, but it seems jumbled and to be refered to the wrong people? As if they get the info , then don't know where it came from, so they refer it to the wrong people. I may well be wrong and I would never dought any psychic or medium. They may not be able to entirly proove there validity, but I can not dis-count it either. So the doors open to that one. I tend to be of the mind that if i can't see or record it , its not there. But I have have had moments and just because it doesn't cut into the frequencies I can interact with doesn't mean It doesn't excist. I can't see the wind but it can blow my hat off. So there you go. But I do not use mediums within my investigations as they tend to talk alot about things they apparantly hear and see, which through parapsychology could cause a haunting through psychic intent and psychicaly polute the environment. Embedded thought energy, imprinted upon a space which can be experienced by another person and which can produce the brain activity which assumes the likeness of the haunting put in place by the inventor. In other words embbeded energy isn't only caused by people when they die. 75% of hauntings are assumed to be caused by living people at a time of traumer. Is this energy what mediums are picking up on? The energy produced by the brain and by the moment of stress or fear or love etc..interesting hey? |

That would be a good signature
I don't blame you for not using mediums in your investigations - also a % are definitely fake, remember Derek Achora?
I've never visited a medium myself yet, but I do intend to in the near future. I believe a certain % are definitely con artists and use cold reading techniques etc...
Thanks for your take on it - I'll make my conclusions after I've sen a few. |
