C'mon DB put it into perspective; look at the big picture; look at how much could be gained from getting just one of these.

I guess there could be a bad ripple effect - loads of brutes going out them after their existence would be proven etc but...

I don't agree with killing any innocent potentially self aware creature even in the cause of scientific advancement.

I agree and disagree - I weigh up the pros and cons

If the creature was killed, that would be that; it's going to die someday anyway. If it wasn't; maybe communication could be made with it; maybe it could speak, or learn to speak. (which IMO would be amazing)

Are you an animal rights supporter then?

Sort of. I eat meat but am in favour of humane killing where the animal is despatched very quickly, having led a relatively happy life. I don't agree with Halal slaughter. I'm against all kinds of animal cruelty and obviously human cruelty.

I'm not in favour of capturing or killing one of these creatures - IF they exist.

I agree and I'm the exact same.

I couldn't agree. It would be so monumental. It would also be major for 'The Paranormal'.

For evolutionary biology maybe but once the existence of these creatures is established it takes it out of the Paranormal and very much into the Normal. Same with ghosts.

I think it would add a bit of mystery and excitement to everyone in the world's everyday life (although I know some people have no interest and don't care about anything other than the match tonight and going for a pint Laughing ) (an example being Alex not caring whether or not man have gone to the moon)

For me it would be similar to Aliens landing or confirmation that Aliens have visited us.

It would be great for the paranormal because so many people laugh at things like this, maybe the other subjects would be taken more seriously - Ghosts/UFOs/OBEs

I'm sure Bigfoot enthuasiasts wouldn't let the Skeptics forget too quickly Wink

The world is full of animals we have never found, theres no reason why there shouldn't be animals such as this. I would have thought that trackers could have found them by now, but if they ain't , they aint.
The multi dimentional theory is interesting. There is a belief through psychical research that these dimesions excist on many levels, we find some proof of this through utilisation of sensor arrays, emf, temp, Ion count, Humidity and air presure. We use a sensor array and find that at the time of apparant events, the energy reading equipment shows variations..ie, air presure falls, humidity rises and negative ion counts rise etc etc. This is believed to be the equalisation of portaled dimensions. The mixing and equalisation of two dimentions in other words. My oppinion is open on the subject, as it could also be a bi product of attempted manifestation. Ant way getting back to the subject in hand, I see no reason why life forms couldn't have gained the ability somewhere during evolution to utilise this dimentional wharping effect as a way to move freely around the multi-dimentional universe. Sounds good to me. If dimentions are malable, then maybe time is too as put farward by quantum science. It would mean I could buy one pint in apub now, then keep going back to it and drinking it over and over again in different dimentions and still have it has cold as when I first bought it, plus guzzle it down before I paid for it and sod of into another dimention so as to get it free. So the next time you see a half empty pint of guinness on a bar that appears to belong to no one...you may have just missed me! or I may be about to walk in? I'll have been out on the town with my mate the big foot. Chears.

This multidimensional stuff is all hypothetical, but one man who does believe in it is David Icke and heres his take on it:

Oh dear, the scientist are NOT impressed....
Wikkipedia....

"The scientific community discounts the existence of Bigfoot, as there is no evidence supporting the survival of such a large, prehistoric ape-like creature. The evidence that does exist points more towards a hoax or delusion than to sightings of a genuine creature."
