Here's a few stories of strange things that have happened to me.
When I was growing up my brother and I were the only ones to have rooms on the 2nd floor of the house. There was an attic, Jim's room and my room up there.
We went to bed at like 9pm in those days and for a little while something weird happened every night. About 15 minutes after we shut our lights off we would hear what sounded like a bucket going town the stairs. I say a bucket cuz it was like a hollow plastic sound it wouldn't crash and bang it would only bang a couple times then nothing. You'd think if something was actually going down the stairs you would hear it hitting the closed door at the bottom. The first night I kinda shrugged it off, the second night Jim actually came into my room and asked me what I was doing. The third night we both went downstairs and wouldn't go back up for a while. Never did figure out what was making the noise. Lol!
Later on when I was 18 I had an apartment in the center of town. My room mate and I were sitting in the livingroom watching a movie, he was like half asleep on the floor. I know it was winter because we were both wrapped up in blankets. The bedroom door was about 4ft away from us. We heard this huge BANG and then the door slammed shut, a few seconds later the light went on in the bedroom and we could see a shadow moving under the door. My friend and I didn't really freak out, we didn't jump and scream. We just kinda watched what was going on, and asked each other if we saw what we saw. I asked Troy if I could sleep on the couch with him that night. LOL!
I lived in another apartment in another state. I had a room mate but he was always gone so I spent quite a bit of time by myself. If I went on about all the experiences that happened in that apartment I would be here all day. So here's one.
I do get spooked very easily, especially when I'm alone, I just felt odd one night. So I got on the phone and asked my friend Lance if he would come stay with me overnight. I pretty much begged him Lol!
I didn't have a proper bed, just 2 mattresses piled ontop of each other. So I dragged one into the living room and Lance slept in the bedroom. When we got up the next morning Lance was like.. Do you have a wind chime?
I was like.. noooo.. Why? Apparently he couldn't sleep very well because he heard jingling bells all night long. It would stop just long enough for him to drift off then it would start again. I poked my head outside at the neighbors house, they didn't have a wind chime either. The entire time I lived there I never heard anything like that either.
Thoughts?!? :)

Do you believe you are sensitive to spirits - like psychic? That would explain why so much activity has happened around you - because they say a medium/psychic is like a light in a dark room for spirits and they are drawn to them. |

Thanks for sharing those, I really like to hear members personal experiences of the paranormal.
My answer would be to agree with you and say I think you get spooked very easily too
But, being serious, there's a rational explanation for those experiences MailOrder.

The only one I can't really wrap my head around was the door getting slammed shut, the light turning on, then seeing shadows moving under the door.
The other 2 were just sounds, I didn't actually see anything get manipulated. |

thecactus, I've never thought about being sensitive. Probly because I've never had images pop into my head. I've never had feelings or anything.
I do get different feelings when I go to different houses but then again that could be just the way the house is decorated.
No wait, I lied. I was at a friends house sitting in her bedroom and I didn't like the hallway for some reason. I just kept looking out there expecting to see something. I was like.. I don't like your hallway. It gives me the creeps. Did someone die up here?
Some dude hung himself in the hallway. D:!!
But that's about it! |
