Hi Cactus, that sounds a little commical.

I know what this is...

I don't think DB knows much about floaters, they are transparent wisps that show in the vision from dead cells in the vitreous fluid. They are seen only during the day when looking at light areas, floater are shadows of these dead cells.

Actually about 80 percent of people have them in some form or another and even from as young as 10.

I have quite a few transparent wisps that appear like cobwebs and one larger black spot but eventually the brain compensates and you don't see them, also they dissapear with time.

So....i'm not sure how a black spot shadow or transparent thread can look like a very bright, large ball of light flying throught the sky with blue swirling?
Oh and just to bury this, this paticular sighting was in the 90's and I didn't have them then. Also I wasn't alone that time.

Exactly Cactus Very Happy

I watched a intense ball of light with blue swirling around it travel very irraticly changing course as it went, at a low altitude over my garden.

The blue field entoptic phenomenon or Scheerer's phenomenon (after the German ophthalmologist Richard Scheerer, who first drew clinical attention to it in 1924[1]) is the appearance of tiny bright dots (called "blue-sky sprites") moving quickly along squiggly lines in the visual field

What rubbish. I love the way DB seems to know all about my vision and also he has failed to notice it was multiple witness sighting and before I had one floater.

That link has no relevence whatso ever.
My god DB this is your worst argument yet.

You're gonna have to back pedal now Scott. This is the first time that you've said your blue swirly orb was seen by anyone other than yourself - no mention of multiple witnesses mate.

The link is relevant because it describes something very similar to what you've reported Rolling Eyes

And you've not responded to my previous question Crying or Very sad

I don't recal writing a full sighting report here for that sighting but im sure that I have said somewhere that I was not alone on that one.

If you wa'nt to try and make me out to be lying then thats up to you but for me I remember like it was yesterday and find it funny that your trying every angle to dissprove something that has already been proved to me.

What question?

How am I making you out to be lying?. You posted that you saw a blue orb and I'm just pointing out that you never mentioned others also saw it Rolling Eyes
I'm not trying to disprove anything - as I've said on numerous occasions, I'm pointing out more realistic, rational explanations to phenomenon that have no real proof to support them.

This question:
A typical debunk reaction would be jumping on the aircraft saftey lecture to try to humiliate. Lasers are for night sky use and stargazing....live with it.
You've once again misunderstood my post. I suggest you re-read it and quote me the bit where I debunked anything to do with lasers?.

Here we are, the thread in ufos.

Last time I mentioned a laser the mentioned debunker above tried to make me out to be an easilly exited fool blinding pilots.
I'm sure you're very careful about pointing your laser at commercial and civilian aircraft Scott and there would be no harm done pointing it at satellites but how would you be able to tell between a high flying passenger jet, a satellite/the ISS and a genuine alien spaceship?.

Here attemping to make me look like I can't tell whats a plane or not, therfore making me look like a fool blinding pilots as ive no way to tell.

It was a perfectly reasonable question on my part Scott - how would you tell?.

planes are obvious they have lights and can be seen clearlya as they cant go higher then 10km up. satelites are obvious and move in a certen easy to spot way. Any flashing blue and white balls of light should be easilly identified too.

Anyhow, as I just said to Cactus there is no point in continueing if you can't accept they are up there.
one day if you get a 100 percenter you will understand. Untill then....

I'm out star watching tomorrow night - I may get a 100%ter but how will I know if it's an alien spaceship if it's way way up high in the sky?.

Any how, back on topic gentleman....

After DB says that the pic looks genuine, but the figure isnt standing on the grass behind the girl, got me thinking.

Looking again at the picture, above the girls right shulder but under the "bob" of her hair, something white is visible, or at least the same colour as the "spaceman".

Could it be an action man scaled figure, dressed in white, perhaps the snow patrol outfit fron the 60 - 70's perched behind her?

Heres a link to(hopfully) to an action man site, "artic assault" and "ski patrol" seem the best culprits.

I've always thought it was some kind of toy figure Carlos. I'm about the same age as that girl and I used to play with some spacemen figures back in the 60's that were almost identical to the figure in the photo - I've spent a lot of time on the internet trying to find a pic of one Mad
How it got into the picture is a mystery though.
