The world's most well known UFO incident, parallel or even seen as above Roswell, occurred on USAF/RAF NATO territory on the British Isles at Rendlesham. The event is most commonly known as the Rendlesham Forest Incident. It involved US Security, British Security, Secret Service on both continents and Porton Down and possibly RAF Rudloe Manor. |

Hi Koala,
I live about 10 miles from Rendlesham Forest and often visit the forest. The forest has an eerie atmosphere to it. Whenever I have done video using my digital camera the playback image is very 'shimery' in appearance. Although the airbase has been disused since 1993 there have been a large number of UFO sightings. I have also recorded EVP there and the message was 'Don't try to contact us!, got that?, Goodbye!'
in a stern voice. If you want any photos of the area I can take them for you and post them on here.
Thanks.

Could you expand on that initial post koala. Bentwaters was a US joint UK base. What connection would it have (in relation to 'the Rendlesham incident') to Porton Down and Rudloe Manor?.
The alleged UFO encounter at Rendlesham has been analysed many times and the chief participants such as Larry Warren have changed their accounts several times.
@ Ghostspook 2010. All forests have eerie atmospheres if you're that way inclined. I get spooked in the big dark pine woods near me but it's just human nature and the fear of the unknown. It's a survival instinct that we've had since we were hunted by bigger creatures.
I'd be interested in hearing more about your malfunctioning digital camera and more so the EVP that you captured.

Didn't see this post earlier.
Love the EVP message, it kind of makes sence.
The aliens were there to shut down missiles and bail out, perhaps they were anoyed that we could have such devices of death and they think any species that makes something like that must be worth avoiding.
I am planing to visit as the weather warms up so fingers crossed, I might get a sighting.
Some say the landing marks are still visable, is this true? |
