After all its a complicated sittuation and no conclusions should be attempted without al the facts.
Well said Iain, unfortunately 'fact' is a four letter word for some people and they prefer to confirm their biased beliefs rather than actually consider facts.
To think I know people who liked it and who were scared by it and said "you should watch it, theres men on there who do what you do!"
LOL

Yeah it's still all theory. It is interesting though. I wonder if it is a spirit/s did they make their presence knwn for a reason, or just coincidence? |

Hey there, i would like to have a say on this, as ian knows i run a company which is simlar, we do scientific investigations "when we first started it was rather spiritual" we offer public scientific investigations, Or a scientific mixed with a spiritual investigation. either way we like to drill into the minds of our fans and visitors or paid customers to understand the science behind it. I hate doing what alot of groups do out there and that is sit around a table and puss a glass around all night. I hate it!
its pointless
Fake
not real.
and stupid i think.
We do own a oujia board but we use it as a scientific tool, "trigger objet"
people come to events exspecting to be scared.. or to see a ghost.. some see it as a joke..
i think alot of people cant be arsed learning the science bit, so they leave it to others to work out mainly.
running a scientific group and getting serious customers is hard for a event, i know that first hand.. and i know just how you feel ian.
To gains peoples intrest in your site ian, why not offer a free ghost hunt like we do to fans, and you will see many turn up. Maybe we should do one together since were from the same area lol :) |

My events are aimed mainly at people who come from a scientific back ground. I find that to have anyone there who is tongue in cheak and who finds it funny to ridicule the situation puts the investigation in jeopardy.
I do attempt not to use the more well known venues as the over all feel of those environment feels somewhat poluted to me. I have and do use these places every now and again, but I would rather run investigations in less obvious places ie; woods, old tracks in woods, abandoned houses.
I find we get more results there... I don't use ouija boards due to the evidence not been documentable unless something was to happen which would be proven without dought, the more people in a place the more chance of someone polluting the experiment with falsities.
I'm not sure if you are aware of my methods but my "off road" investigations tend to be very boring lol. Three people sat in a van watching monitors and one person within the environment. I wouldn't work with any more than four on one of those investigations.. I'm sure we could sort something out one way or another for an investigation somewhere with a different outlook. I wouldn't want to run it as a public event as I generaly spend the first hour explaining equipment and theories lol, other wise the people who come along don't have much of a clue what they are doing and it is a learning experience for them. Then the group of no more than ten people are put into the roll of investogators, no glamour. Then I produce a dvd of any evidence documented and a general run down of the event in order to remind them of the event later as referance. I now also carry out indepth investigations of private homes..these are very private and very indepth.
If you would like to meet for a chat, let me know when and I'd be more than pleased to pop along. Thankyou for the offer and hope to hear from you soon. |

Iain I meant a coincidence that you just happened to catch them - If you have ruled out all the possibilities (I'm no photography expert) then I believe there is a good chance this is a spirit or spirits. My feeling would definitely be that there is a connection with the grave they are over. Have you done any investigations in that graveyard since?
I have heard of stories were certain people, usually from they are children, every single photograph ever taken of them has these sort of lights in it - usually when the children get older they claim to see spirits regularly. |

Ye Ive done a lot of stuff around that area. Haven't repeated the situation. It is strange that the lights appear to be isolated to that one grave . There are indeed reports of spirit lights around children but thats a big subject in its self. Theres always the chance this could be a fluke of light refracted from somewhere?
But I followed up the situation and found nothing ( I must have looked a bit odd actualy with my equipment in the grave yard on my own). There was an incident where me and my girlfreind were taking some photos near there and a guy walked past us. I said hello, but no answer? so me being me I followed him lol... but he'd gone? he was in the middle of the grave yard then was gone? I didn't pay much attention to it afterwards as I pay little time to experiences not recorded. But interesting that both things happened in the same place.
I shall be going back...do you wanna come along? |
