Here's a general question I'n just throwin' out to the audience.
For those that believe aliens have been visiting Earth for thousands of years or even the recent past - why?.

i dont believe, yet - but i definately believe its posssible
maybe they have been visiting ever since humans existed or even before - maybe lots and lots of differnet races, maybe some not even humanoid
maybe since WW2 and the invention of the atomic bomb and what America done in Harishima and Nagasaki -they have started to visit much more frequently as humans have reached a point where they can destroy themselves and they want to help/maybe intervene - with the eventual creation of nuclear bombs and the cold war etc...
also they could be interested in why we destroy our planet and each other - pollutioglobal warming - using up all natural resources without thinking about the consequences - wars etc...
maybe theyre also interested in our good points - our imaginations, art, music etc... |

Could be any number of reasons DB and you know it.
We can't definatly answer for sure, we can only speculate.
They may have created us and be observing and checking over, they may have their eye on the planet, could be curiousity or maybe just harvesting our animals in order to change their very own DNA in order to survive.
It is speculated that grey aliens seek to aqire a soul of there own as they were created without one in a slave race. A soul would be quite desireable if you knew you didn't have one of your own and there would be no afterlife for yourself.
If you was in a ship and at our closest star proximus cenury, wouldn't you wan't a peek.
Life in the universe is going to be very common so I would strongly lean towards many agendas depending on the species begining with that initial curiousity. |

Speculation - nothing more - certainly not based on fact.
They may have created us
May - no proof

How would you know which direction to go in? Who's to say they had the technology to go in the opposite direction - IF there was indeed life in Proxima Centauri - which is debatable.
All speculation Agentscott.

yes but we are only talking about 'why' they would visit us on this thread - not whether they exist or not |

Speculation again.
I could speculate that we were created by nine fingered two headed jelly monsters and that would have as much credibility as your 'it is speculated' stabs in the dark.
I've read all of this 'soul repository' stuff. IMO it's no more than a vaguely interesting thought.

The original 'V' and the remake is based on UFO lore. It also ties into the belief in the snake/lizard/bible folklore.
