| My mom had her palms read when she was in highschool. Many of the things the palm reader said came true. Did those things come true because she said they would, or were they bound to happen anyway? Tell me what you think. |

| There are two possible things: First being that the palm reader was able to see into the future of the person guide them along the path. Second, because the person heard those words they actively searched for them to occur or to not occur and thereby creating these instances as spoken about by the palm reader. |

| I don't really believe in palm readers, they're usually strange people who get it right sometimes. Anybody can do it. |

I think like anything else out there that there are good Palmists and bad ones (bad meaning not terribly good at what they do).
If you get a good reading it can be awesome. But look out for the charlatans. _________________ Remember...ghosts were people, too. :) |

What are you to look for in a 'good' Palmist.
Other than by word of mouth. _________________ Every year you live, you pass the anniversary of your death.

Since Palmistry isn't regulated by the usual means (licensing, etc.) word of mouth is really the only thing you can rely on. A good Palmist builds up a good, loyal clientele. Ask if you can speak to some of their customers, or ask for a small free reading to see if she "clicks" with you.
Palimists who seem to be in it solely for the money, or who seem completely over the top (think side show at a circus) shoudl generally be avoided, but that's just common sense. _________________ Remember...ghosts were people, too. :) |
