New guy, first post.
Here is a weird aura ghost thing that I caught on film the other day while I was kick-starting my bike. The bike's previous owner died under odd circumstances and apparently really loved this bike.

I tried to embed the video but I couldn't get it to work, sorry. |

The sun is shining just below the level of the saddle. When the engine starts, the vibration of the saddle modulates the level of light penetrating in the direction of the camera, thereby causing the flickering effect. |

Huh? This was in the middle of the day. And; I'm not sure what you are saying "penetrating the direction of the camera". The camera didn't move.
Thanks for the feedback |

Let's see if I can dumb this down. Nobody said that the camera moved, it was facing either towards the sun or a bright reflection of the sun, which was partly obscured by the bike but was visible above the saddle. Once the bike started vibrating (and let's face it a v-twin is the worst for vibration) the amount of obscured light varied with the vibration. An observer looking from the camera's position may have perceived a general flickering, but at the low frame rate of the video, random intensities of light are picked-up, producing the strobe effect. Thanks for dumbing it down for the rest of us... I'm not convinced with your explanation, but hey, I have no idea what it really is. I know a lot more about bikes and that than ghost or even camera stuff.
Can you recreate the effect in the manner that you are describing it? Would that even work?
Thanks for the feedback |

| Probably, but I'm not inclined to rig-up the necessary equipment. You could always try reproducing it yourself in the same way. You should find that revving the engine changes the appearance of the strobe effect. |

The camera is being vibrated from the motor and shaking the light flare which shows onto the camera :) |

Good debunking I.S. Its so easy for people to believe that something is paranormal, when you first see something. You need someone with a scientific head to sort these mistakes out. Well done mate. |
