This morning I went to the site of an accident that happened in my home town yesterday. A remote area of Caerphilly where A bloke I knew Called Nigel was unfortunately knocked off his mountain bike and driven over by two cars. Needless to say he died. I am already an active participant in a campiagn to the local council to get the areas traffice sorted with speeding cars etc. So i went out with my camera to the site this morning to take photos, And for I took one photo and the betteries died, rather strange as I only charged them yesterday, anyways, I have always been taught to carry a spare set in which were taken from my charger this morning, They to died . NAturally I thought it strange.
Got home and the second set of batteries are now showing a little bit of power where as the first set are still dead so will need charging again. The charger is reliable, I used industry standard being an electrician etc, so its not that even though i have just tested it to make sure.
Phoned up solstice and explained to him and we agreed it was unusual, so any opinions on this
Coincidence, Natural explanation, Paranormal? |

My sympathies on the loss of your friend damar.
As for the batteries, rechargeable are known to do that when they are near the end of their life or in the case of NiCad batteries, they loose their memory and will not take a charge even though they show fully charged. |

Shame these batteries are only a month old though. They are replaced regularly. |

What brand of batteries do you have?
Are they Nickle Cadmium or Nickle Metal Hydride? |

We can rule out memory then. Either they were bad to begin with or... they were drained for spirit energy. One way to tell would be to recharge them then use them again for something else. If they are ok then you got spooked lol :D |

Thanks everyone for the condolences, I myself wasn't very close to him , I knew him from when i used to work with him and he always achnowledged me in the street. Its more my father and neighbours who knew him much better. Still a shocker to know a life can end so quickly and with such tradegy
ANYWAYs
I have recharged the batteries since and been using my camera all morning taken about 200 photos and the batteries still have 89% power. Which sounds about normal.
Will check the spare batteries in a bit |
