I stayd at my girlfriends house a couple of weeks ago.
She'd had a foot operation and was forced to sleep on the sofa downstairs, and I slept in her double bed upstairs.
About 2am, I was awoken by 2 very loud thumps coming from upstairs ( theres only 2 rooms upstairs and a very small upper landing).
Now the first one, I actually heard in my sleep, so that was the one that woke me up. I heard my girlfriend shout me from downstairs, as I was coming around I heard a second big thump. She shouted me again.
I thought she'd dropped something, but she shouted up to me to ask me to stop thumping on the floor.
I shouted to her that I've been asleep, and it woke me up.
I went down stairs to ask her what she heard. She said it was like a rolling sound, as if something was rolling and then dropping off a window sill. She said it sounded like it came from the room I was in.
I said it sounded different, like it had a revirberating ,almost 'boom' sound to it.
It was a warm evening and the windows were open, and it was a little windy, but I checked the room I was sleeping in, and check the spare room....absolutly nothing had been moved. There was no explanation for it.
Its a 60's house, and no reported deaths have been recorded in the house. It was just weird. |

Not really no. But I do sometimes feel a slight unease if I'm honest in the upstairs rooms. But only sometimes. I've not told my girlfriend that, but she's not heard anything.
I don't know what was on the sight previously. My girlfriend said it was just fields. |

Oh yeah, I mean she lives in Aylesbury, and all around the countryside around Aylesbury, theres deserted medieval village sites, or Moats, and earthworks.
Plus Aylesbury was seized during the English civilwar. |

Was this the first time you two have experienced this in her home? |
