could this be astral travel

(this post is a few months old now)

I am so excited today,two nights ago i had a very similar experience to my old sleep paralysis,which took me by suprise .When i say similar,i didnt have the normal paralysis but experienced the same feelings,the buzzy staticy electric feeling that i quite enjoyed,lol

i didnt say anything to anyone barr my hubby.as previous to this i had been made aware of someone in the bedroom,although i didnt look i could hear shuffling around,then as if footsteps walked out of the doorway and into the upstairs hallway,i can hand on my hear and say i know it wsnt either of the little ones getting up through the night.

so last night i went to bed pretty late,and the same happened..awareness of not being alone,i eventually went to sleep and woke up literally sweating,so adjusted my covers and pillow and tried to get back to sleep..WELL !!!

I hadnt been lying there long,and i felt the most overpowering tingly feeling within my whole body..i wasnt frightened to say the least,and i could move !!
one of the first things that came into my head was this is not another spirit,THIS IS FOR ME !!

i tried to relax myself and enjoy this feeling,allthough i knew it wasnt normal,i wasnt afraid....as this sensation enveloped me it intensified by a thousand,and just then i actually felt myself DETATCH ...i cant even begin to tell you what i mean by this,but i know i to some extent I drifted from my body even though only a few inches.I WAS LIKE WOW,then panic stepped in as i was aware of what was happening the whole time,and for a split second i thought,im not ready for this,what happenes if i cant come back,or i dont know how to do it,PMSL....(logical thinking you see) and as if whoever was guiding me knew my fears i could feel getting closer to myself again..and there i was back as normal..

I WAS SO EXCITED,BUT FEAR TOOK HOLD OF ME AND STOPPED WHATEVER THE EXPERIENCE WAS GOING TO BE..WHICH THIS MORNING I COULD KICK MYSELF FOR..BUT WHEN IT WAS HAPPENING,I WAS SO UNSURE,AND FOUGHT AS I DIDNT WANT TO TAKE THE RISK....

I truly belive that if i had let this flow i either would have had a out of body experience (which is less likely between the two) or more importantly MY FIRST EVER AKNOWLEDGABLE ASTRAL TRAVEL...

sounds so bizzare,but i cant wait for bedtime tonight !!!!

Have you had any more of these experiences Angel?

You mentioned the concern of not being able to come back.
Do you mean the chance of not being able to return to your body?
Can that happen?

This sounds so interesting.
