Do any of you ever get a sense of deja vu?

It happens me every now and then - I think there is a possibility of reincarnation, and maybe the most accurate religion is buddhism.

I intend to research all religions thoroughly at some point in my life, but I dont think any are 100% accurate, maybe none are 50% correct in their beliefs.

I have read about people who claim to have had contact with aliens - the aliens claim that the body is just a container for the soul and whe you die you get another one etc...maybe some people for a while after they die become ghosts in between?

Every now and then I get a strong sense of deja vu - like whatever I am doing/hearing/seeing at that time - I have been in this exact place exact time before...and I just stop and sort of remember being there before

D B Sweeney, im doing you a favour - the brain is a muscle - if it doesnt get exercised it gets weak, and weak minds are no use for paranormal research

The brain is not a muscle. It gets used if it's analysing on a sceptical level or on a non challenging YouTube level.
The one thing that is no use for paranormal research is a mind that only sees one side of a story - like people who believe in god and refuse to accept the overwhelming lack of evidence against that belief.

D B Sweeney, I think you must have a selective memory - how many times have I said - if its real, possibly, maybe???

and I only see one side?

if that was the case there would be no - ifs, possiblies or maybies!

Ive experienced deja vu, but the question is this:

Do you remember doing something all ready after the event, or are you capable of already knowing what your next action will be, which in reality presents its own problem. If your going to do some thing, your already taking actions to do it, can deja vu affect your decisions if youve already experienced the out come?

I used to get deja vu alot, maybe 6 times a week, now its thinned out a little.
I dreamt about a crash I had in my truck (RIP FM52), and in the dream the other 3rd stopped, asked if i was allright and drove off after the inpolite reply. Involved in the accident was another vehicle with 2 children on board who were injured. I passed out after realising the kids were badly hurt, the presence of another vehicle couldnt be proved and i was aware that i would loose my job.

When I did have the accident, everything was the same, driving round the roundabout, drink in cup holder (which I wanted to go for) then car appeared and couldnt stop, hit my truck on the left side at around 60mph, my natural instinct was to allow the truck to turn into the island and grass embankment. But I couldnt, all I could see was a 3rd vehicle with the injured kids, which I believe led me to fight with the truck and take both damaged vehicles into a railing. The vehicle with the children was a red renault and this passed safely.

After the truck stopped, I got out and sat on the embankent with a feeling of being "emotionally drained" (probably shock) I wanted to sleep, but couldnt, and I knew he would drive off, but was still suprised when he did( I had a stronger feeling of deja vu after he did drive off), and I realised I would be in trouble if I didnt get him. I think then adrenaline kicked in and I went after him in my truck with the railings included and caught him.

Could deja vu of affected me to take actions to prevent the kids getting hurt?
Or was it down to seeing the 3rd vehicle in the corner of my eye at the last minute?
Did the fear of loosing my job spur me my adrenaline to kick in and catch him?

It could of been any number of "real" variables that had a influence on my actions, but I know I had experienced that accident before and could see the result in my mind, and I didnt want it turning out like that.

Every individual will have the déjà vu feeling at least once in their life. Understanding the reason will help solve some issues.

It happens to me a couple of times a year at least. I'm sure it's fairly common and just a mental thing that is very odd but ultimately within the explainable.
