I've watched Most Haunted just a few times. So I can't really voice on Derek Acorahwhat. 
On the SCI Fi channel we have Ghost Hunters, same category as Most Haunted I assume.
Sure you can put a kibosh on most of it, but what the heck..... at some point in time something has to be real.
Watch, enjoy, and take it for a grain of salt.
We as a people, only believe it if we see it.

Derek is a total fake, he needs an ear piece to keep in contact with sam who happens to be a guy that has a lap top set up and is able to search all the net for info as he needs it, even evette commented on hearing voices when she was close to him during filming and he would suddenly cover his ear and step away from her.
sussed you Derek.
thats why he had to end most haunted after the last halloween special, if you watch that one you will see how even evette got mad with him over it while live on tv.

| i think its all acting.if it isnt then he needs to give it up cos he is getting weak cos he is being taken over more now than when he started.at first it was interesting when he was taken over but now we say oh here we go again.we have stopped watching it cos its boring now. |

unfortunately derek met his own doom with most haunted, as yrs ago he was a very trusted and reliable medium, however show buisness and the lime light went to his head and he started playing up for the cameras.
he was caught out on the show by its own people, who set him up (nice people eh)
but nothing seems to phase him, hes moved on and it doesnt appear as if his discredit on most haunted has done him that much harm as he still has quite a large following on his own show.
personally though, the likes of occorah have hurt a lot of people in the buisness so hes a no go for me .
