Welcome to the forums ace.
Digital cameras are rated by how many pixels they have. The more they have the better the picture quality. Most cell phones have anywhere between 1&5 pixels where cameras can go as high as 12 or more. You can use them but the quality will not be as good. |

It's tougher to blow up a photo from a low mega pixel image but other than that sure you can use them. They also lack good color resolutions, so if you catch something it will be hard to prove it to most without the ability to zoom, enhance and look at details. |

welcome to the forums ace :)
I'd personally say that a digital camera is better than a mobile phone camera because digital cameras tend to have a higher pixel rate. That been said there are some mobiles out there that have a very good camera, do it depends what type of camera your phone has to how much detail you will catch. |
