Not really unfinished business, had some questions about the past but I kinda let go of them I mean it is the past. That said only recently have i let go so it's totally possible my dad was expecting questions on that. Maybe it was a little like going up to a science teacher and asking him about algebra, if he's decently educated he'd no but it would suprise him.

Just when I got an opportunity to ask whatever I like those questions on the afterlife and god popped up as important to me.

I do feel my dad was maybe letting on more than was "allowed".

It does seem like we are'nt allowed to know everything and there is a lot more going on maybe than Joe Average knows or even could begin to think about.

Anyways had another dream. Again seems more real than most, and asked some more questions.

The answers kinda came vague this time tho, but my father was happier about answering stuff.

So either my brain works overtime here clinging to the memory of dad or I could be really seeing him, not sure at this point, but it's good either way I think.

The answers I got (not word for word as they were discussions and carefully worded):

A lot of ghosts can control how and who they appear to and in some cases don't appear to people because they think they will scare.

Actually seeing ghosts can be a tricky thing, I think this discussion lasted a while. If you don't believe, don't want to see they can be filtered out. Apparently some never use their filter and some who do can break their filter, this can happen through death of a loved one or other trauma, in this case your mind seeks answers and so the filters lifted.

I was then advised that to understand any more than this "would be impossible in my present life".

As i say I'm a little unsure if this is my creation, however though as said there is a real feel to these dreams that I don't get usually.

Maybe I'll scan these forums see if theres someone with a similar experience, at this point I won't dismiss the possibility of supernatural, but I bet most shrinks would say it's my mind preserving the memory of my father.

Anyway c ya all soon.

What are your surroundings like while you're talking with your Dad?
May sound as a silly question but...how old does your Dad look in your visits?

Thanks for sharing Royal. Very Happy

The surrounding is mostly our old house, the house I lived in from 13+ and visited a lot even after I moved out.

My father looks like I remember except healthier and more energetic, probably late 40's to early 50's (I was born when he was 48).

One signficant point is that he cracked a bone near his knee in his 60's (of course that never healed), but in the dreams he's moving like a 16 year old heading for his first beer.

Now most of my memorys are of him with the limp so if it is my minds work it's a little strange how I'd not picture him injured.

Also some answers I'm getting are not really what I expect too.

On another note I've caught a figure in the bedroom twice today. I am new at this, but found if I didn't panick it didn't disappear so fast.

Also reading upon things many mediums meditate to see ghosts, so when the things i see fly off is it possible I just freak a bit too much.

Maybe if I learn to calm myself I can get a better glimpse.

That said never seen anything as clear as today, well clear by my standards, from the back long hair fair sitting calmly on our bed watching my girlfriend sleep.

I think thats why I didn't freak too the figure seemed like they knew her and wanted to see her, kinda hard to explain, I just kinda knew they were freindly.

My question now is should I try meditating, it would be nice to see something other than flashes.

TTFN and tc all.

I've heard that when you see them that they are more middle aged and in good health.

Have you described this spirit to your girlfriend yet?

I'd suggest you talk or private message Paul234 he is a medium.
He'll be able to answer your questions.

Had a word with Paul, he confirms keeping calm makes things clearer, so I maybe onto something here.

My girlfriend is spending a week at her mums, which may be an opportunity (this stuff really freaks her out)

First night alone last night heard footsteps on the carpet and indistinct whispering.

Did try to stay cool but it was a little scary to be honest. Still managed to hear it for quite a while but did have to switch off, and then watch comedy before sleeping, bah wish I was braver lol.

The footsteps were slow, almost like someone creeping and the whispering seemed like 2 or more people (entitys?) and although I couldn't make it out may have been another language. It's definetly not English, Welsh, German, French or any european that I know of.

Don't know much about latin I'll try look some latin words up see if they fit, anyways thanks for listening again.

C ya soon - Royalblue.

Laughing Laughing
Keeping calm is probably easier said than done at
times.
Keep us informed on what goes on and what you find out about the language.

Is there any way you could record these whispers?

Never thought of that next time I hear it I'll try grab it on my phone.

I did hear some earlier may have been hasty to label it actually. I was told once that the Welsh speak English at the fastest rate in the UK (well south Wales anyways). It could be possible it is English just seemingly slow.

I don't get the same feeling of saftey like the spirit that was watching over my girlfriend, someone has mentioned the possibility of her having a guardian spirit, but I'm a little confused why I would see it and not her.

I'm also wondering if ghostly voices use expression, if not this could be a reason why I originally didn't recognise the voices as english.

Oh and something I didn't mention, a few years back while staying at my girlfriends mums house near Bristol I was in a room on my own and heard and whisper "Who is he"? This is definately different, it's very soft whispering.

It sounds like a full on discussion to me. Anyways I'll get voice recorder on my phone set up see if I can get a sample to upload.

See ya again soon.

It will be interesting to hear what you pick up on the recorder (phone).
