This could be nothing, or it could be something. Who knows.

All I know is definitely everywhere I have lived there has been activity in one form or another. I was born and raised in Iowa and ever since I was born weird things have been happening to me/around me. I moved to Austria and lived there for half a year. Shit went down there, I moved back to the States, things escalated. I moved to the UK, things died down, now to the point where I rarely experience things.
But at one point all I had to do was visit someones house and activity would start there. While I was there, and after I had left when the person who lived there had never experienced anything before.

I could get specific with the actual events but that would turn this post into a novel lol! Let's just say I disappeared for about 10 hours when I was 2 years old, doors being slammed in my face, stuff coming off shelves onto my head, seeing partial apparitions, electrical disturbances, etc etc.

So, my question is, do you guys think something is following me? I'm causing this unconsciously? Coincidences? I'd love to know what you guys have to say.

The one were you disappeared for 10 hours when you were 2 - some people would say that might have been alien abduction and the missing time phenomenon, but idk.

It seems a lot of shit has happened around you Laughing were you ever involved in the occult or anything?

I like to say I was abducted. My Mom likes to say it was angels. Because when they found me I was crawling through a pasture up to the house where there was at least 100 head of cattle. How I didn't get squashed they don't know. I wasn't dirty either which kinda proves my abduction idea.

I have never been involved in the occult unless you call Role Playing occult! I was a huge D&D and VTM nerd back in the day. :)

I had a friend actually ask me to move out because of the shit that got stirred up! Lol!

Can you give us some examples of the type of activity that would typically happen?.

DB,

One of the instances that sticks out in my head, I worked with a friend and I got off work before he did. He gave me the keys to his apartment so I could go in and make supper for us and such.

The couch is situated in this little alcove in the wall with shelves above it full of videos and DVD's. I was sitting there using my laptop, and I heard this strange sound. I must have known what was gunna happen cuz I put my arms over my head and 4-5 videos and DVD's fell on me. Now, these are deep shelves. There's a good 4 inches between the edge of the videos and the lip of the shelf.
I put the videos back up and stomped around and shook the shelves. I couldn't get them to budge.

When Leigh got back I didn't tell him what had happened. I know he would have read into it a little too much and probly would have been freaked out.

Later on in the week he's calling me telling me he thinks something is in his house, the videos are coming down in the middle of the night, it sounds like someone is rummaging around in his kitchen in the night.

I'm totally open to opinions! Lol! I know "sounds in the night" isn't exactly activity or proof but it is odd.

Could some of the videos and DVD's been close to the edge of the shelf without you knowing and been dislodged by you sitting on the sofa and by subtle vibrations?.
I'll hazard a guess that your friend believes in ghosts and the supernatural?.

That is a possibility! I don't go around inspecting shelves to make sure things aren't gunna fall off onto my head. :) I had been sitting there quite some time when it happened because I'd been watching Hellboy on the laptop and I'd gotten about 10-15 minutes into the movie when it happened.
It was an apartment in the middle of Walsall city center though. A big truck going by could have vibrated the place.

He is a believer in the paranormal and is quite spiritual, that's why I didn't mention anything. But when he came back to me with the other things that happened and the videos falling again it kinda made me wonder.

What do you think about the videos falling twice?

Many instances of Poltergeist activity are nothing more than things falling off shelves etc due to very subtle vibrations that over a period of time move them to the tipping point. Your friend's belief in the paranormal will influence how he interprets things and he will be biased towards a paranormal explanation.
Only today an object fell off a sideboard in our house and landed about two feet from the sideboard. I can see that if I was a believer I'd see that as potentially supernatural and over time it would possibly become an object that was 'flung' by unseen hands.
Our house isn't haunted, although it does generate some odd noises at night - BUT, my partner and I are both sceptics and rationalise all the strange activity such as mice in the attic.
As for the videos falling twice - if a shelf is suffering from vibration, then the DVD's/Video's will continue to be subject to being gradually eased off the shelf.

He was convinced that that woman from 13 Ghosts with the weird gadget was in his house screaming at him from the hallway. Then suddenly she was in his head.

o.o

I think it's a bit too easy to get excited about stuff like that. I do get excited when I experience things but I'm not a die hard skeptic. I'm a bit in between.
