GHOST HUNT 12-05

I posted this earlier in the wrong place, oops.

We had a great hunt last night at the shop where I work. There have been some sightings there of late so we decided to stay over and do some research. Anyway, to make a long story short, we managed to catch a couple of good EVPs, some interesting photos that I am still calling "questionable" I think it's more likely they are artifacts rather than anything paranormal.

we got some great responses on the Tri-field meter in direct response to questions posed as well as some fluctuations on the K2.

And yes, yes we did get the whole thing recorder on HD DVD

We also had a special guest camera guy from MTV with us (He is doing a documentary on one of my friends who was involved in this hunt so he decided to tag along for fun).

UPDATE: I got a copy of the RAW DVD footage today from my camera guy and thanks to that evidence, the last two EVPs here have been debunked as possible birds. Still trying to figure out the first on the list.

A few orbs we managed to catch that night. You know how I feel about orbs. I can rule out dust though, the ventilation was off that night. I do not know what these may be though and as they were being photographed we were receiving fluctuations from 1.5 to 5 milligaus on the tri-field.

Here as one of our investigators does EVP work we got a few odd orbs.

Here we see an orb and in the next subsequent frame, it's gone.

We are still researching the findings, these are our findings so far.

Very interesting orbs, especially the 1st one although i think 'most' orbs are just particles of dust at just the right distance away from the camera lens. However some orbs appear in the dark and can be seen with the naked eye and others appear and move in very odd directions.

Good EVP too.

One thing I have noticed about environmental orbs is that they look "out of focus." There are things that "just look" that way and these and almost all orbs do. To me, true spirit energy looks more "solid" and in focus.

I guess I will have to make time to do a series on my theory.

I don't trust orbs as evidence but you all know that. I do however have more EVPs to go over this weekend though.

Can anyone make out a name in the "name" evp? I can hear a whisper and I think there is a name there but would like to see what you guys hear or think before posting results. We have the hunt recorded and it is being edited.

It sounds like all background noise to me even under vocal enhancement.

Thats what I thought to, but I can sort of hear a whisper that sounds like Scott. So I brought that up to the owner of the place while we were going over the findings and he said there was a Scott that once owned the building. Maybe it is just BG noise, no one else can hear it until I point it out, and I really dont like EVPs that faint, you really have to strain to make them out. Either way this project is turning out to be a great learning experience. I have never had the opportunity to document a hunt before and this is just great. The next one will even be better with the new meter I'm getting this Christmas :)

Can you isolate the area where the whisper is heard?

I will see if I can boost the volume a bit. I should have some time this weekend. I'm really undecided on this one.

I tried again to listen, the background buzz is very loud. Does it sound like a quick "Scott" or is it drawn out like "Scoooooooooot?"

Yes a long drawn out Sc oooooo T whisper. The "T" actaually sounds like a beep of sorts. That is the only part that most people can hear.

We are set to go back soon plus we have another potential case for spring. A good chance to really use this new meter :)
