Hi,
My camcorder can record in 30p or 60i frames per second, so I was wondering which if either would be better for ghost hunting?
Because I know 60i can capture things moving at a faster speed than 30p can.
So which is best to use and why? |

30 is more than enough and will save memory if you want to leave it running as long as possible. |

I’m just wondering that since 60 can deal with faster moving things like sports better and spirits are meant to be moving very quickly if there maybe a bit of a better shot of capturing something. |

I'd leave it at 30. Nobody knows what speed ghosts move at just like nobody knows what ghosts are made of, how they manifest or even if they actually exist independently of our minds.
So I'd leave it at 30. And film in daylight not dusk or night time, that way you'll get better lit, clearer images that are not subject to pareidolia.

Ok thanks, and like someone else said to me the trouble is it’s 60i so it’s interlaced which may make reviewing it harder.
So if it was 60p and not 60i I would probably film in it. |
