Welcome to the forum Scitzo.
I'd like to hear more of what happened in your
home and the reason you had to remove all your books. |

Hi Gav,
I was wondering if the elephant figurine always moved to
that same spot.

I've only ever been there when it's moved once but from what my girlfriend says it does only turn itself around. |

Hi Gav,
Would the fact that it never moved after being back not suggest that the movement was caused by the two surfaces being in an ideal state for movement to happen - due to imperceptible vibrations perhaps?.
Moving it and handling it might just have caused a slight change in the base etc.
Just a thought.

Nice theory DB, I wonder what the perfect conditions are. It has been moved around different shelves over the years and has moved so i wonder if it's the base rather than the shelf. Although other things have happened in the house. |

I wonder if i was to rub the base with sandpaper would it stop the movement, if it did stop then you've hit the nail on the head and put to rest years of the haunted elephant legend DB lol. |

When you've done that, spread some Araldite on it. If it still moves then you're haunted. |

The afterlife seems to offer little entertainment for ghosts. Playing with the living is really the only form of entertainment they know. |
