not all of us are like that scott
maybe we offer other explanations other than ghosts or U.F.O's but who wouldnt, you have even agreed that you dont believe everything you see or read |

i talk to spirit everyday and i have helped countless people and no not necessarily would i believe what everyone says but i would not ever expect them on a forum to be able to prove to me as thats not how it all works lol its no different me asking the non believers to prove spirit do not exist as they cant do that either , it is all a matter of your own belief . by all means discuss it but never make people feel like they are stupid or wrong for there beliefs that is how i see it . |

on a forum i think you should put your reasons forward due to why you dont believe and listen to others and not ridicule them as not everything can be explained away by science as even science has been proven wrong in the past , i believe because i have seen enough to make me believe and thats all i need but im open to anything new to explain what ive seen and enjoy discussing it and learning new things . |

You seem to have the right idea Feebs, I quess thats why we all beleive our experience..we experienced them. You would make an exellent moderator.
A true uncontrolled scientist explores the unknown. Hypothesis are interchangable as more is discovered and proved.
Science and the paranormal could/should co exist.
I would love to hear more about your experiences. |

as well as to skylord he needs to cut out the whole preaching side of him and just deal with his experiences and not try and make others believe as thats never going to happen on a forum like this as so many are here with so many different ways and types of life , im a believer but would never tell someone that there belief is wrong as im not them . |

we do not bully people about their experiences
(you may not have said the word bully but that is how its coming accross)
im a believer in the paranormal myself as ive seen a few things in my lifetime so i wouldnt dream of ridiculing people about theirs
we have a nice bunch of people here who do offer other explanations and we are not as nasty as you are making us out to be |

Hi Feebs, just one question and you don't have to answer it.
Do you think the question I put to Skylord was unreasonable in any way?.

im not accusing you of bullying, i am just explaining that the way you all jumped at someone was wrong and not a good thing to do , as a new member it is not nice to see someone ridiculed and laughed at for there belief or even swore at , from what i have read in this one post you have made a new member no longer want to be here because they have a different belief system and thats also wrong as we are here to listen and hear from others about there view point , i also explained that saying you want evidence through a computer screen is silly as you wont get it , if they lived near enough this might have been a possibility , i also have said you cant prove either way if he is telling the truth or not as you cant prove he is wrong either . |

I think bullying is a strong world, perhaps to strong.
Try something like twarting veiws, discrediting or perhaps my fav shooting down.
As I suspect members are put of from posting their experiences. To be fair DB is actually OK and I like him very much, we was chating freindly enough before certen members turned. |

skylord left becacause he couldnt answer the questions members were putting to him, plain and simple
we didnt all jump on him at all but we were curious
and i dont recall people swearing at him either
people just tend to do that when argueing
(mentioning no names) |

i believe there are people able to speak with spirit and i have seen my own proof of this , i believe you have to seek your own proof to believe anything, im not here to make anyone a believer and i dont believe everything im told but i wouldnt like to be pushed to prove it to anyone as thats not why im here.
what i have just read on here has made me very wary of divulging my beliefs as i wouldnt want to be made feel stupid and this is a pity as i have had many encounters and experiences i wanted to post about and that is what i thought this place was for but you all jump to make someone feel very unwanted so quickly and i think that is wrong . |
My Mum saw a ghost that was unaware of her, like you described above. I myself believe in ghosts, but I do not think there is anything wrong, when someone claims supernatural abilities, in challenging them. |
