Hey! I'm Limarie and I'm from York (North Yorkshire) but I'm in Perth atm visiting family.I've had a couple of supernatural incidents but nothing major. I'm interested in Ghost hunting but I've not quite plucked up the courage to try it out yet! That's it really, just wanted to introduce myself to you all!
Oh and if anyone knows any haunted places in Perth that I could check out that'd be awesome! Ta!! |

Hi Limarie
Welcome to World of Ghosts. I don't think we have any info on Perth Hauntings but I bet if you Google 'Perth Hauntings' you'll find plenty.

Thanks for the welcome guys! I googled ghosts in Perth and found some interesting places near by. My own ghostly experiances aren't much...I saw the ghost of a young boy running along the track at the end of my Nan's garden in France. She lives in the middle of nowhere and she has no neighbours, there were no other kids apart from me and my brother there at the time and kids don't tend to disappear! Also, I woke up once in my flat to the feeling of being tucked in...I had a feeling that it was my great-nan. It was pretty weird but not scary! That's about it really, what about everyone else? What're your experiances? |

Have you ever tried making an experience happening; example going to a medium. I'm considering going to one myself to see what happens |

I wouldn't mind going to a medium! That'd be interesting, don't know of any in York though :-( I might have to look into it, I think it'd be an interesting experiance though! I think you should go for it just to see what happens! |

Cactus, is this like having your cards or your palms read?
I get confused on what a medium actually does. |

Different mediums work in different ways but they all basically relay messages from 'the other side', usually they'll tell you they have a person who is in spirit and via a clever process of vague questioning will let the sitter do most of the work.
Obviously it's a lot more complicated than that but this link will explain it better than I can:

Thanks DB.
The clips on Sylvia Brown being debunked are my
favorite. |

Limarie, yeah I'm definitely going to, hopefully get some confirmation :)
bitterbuck1, no they contact the dead bitter, but I will see what happens - the one I am going to see claims she will provide proof of life after death. |
