Hi, my name is Dawn and I would like to share an experience I had at my lake, I had a Ghost team come to investigate the place on the 15th of April this year, and oh what a night it was, I never stay there after dark as I can always feel something but I did manage to stay until 3am, as dark came I was a little edgy but was soon made to feel calm, then the orbs came and more and more, they decided we would do some board work and omg the glass actually moved and told us so much, it picked up on a young girl of 13 that died of the plague she said her father worked the land and she used to sit by the tree to eat her lunch she said he had a big brown horse, she told us where she was born and where her remains were burried, I was so engrosed in this as I had never done anything like this before, I decided to call in a team as the fishermen were reporting lots of strange happenings, on the Sunday we decided to go back without the team, and we picked up so many orbs 13 in just one picture, we got a face of a man of about 50ish and one of a young girl which maybe the girl who came through who told us her name was Catherine, I have tried to upload the picture of her but it won't let me, I will work it out soon for you all to see. I am hooked now and have to go back for more.

What did the fishermen report and have you ever actually seen or heard a spirit there?

Hi Cactus also thank you for the nice welcome, I have seen a few things there which I can not explain and I have heard lots of different things there but it is so isolated and deep in the countryside of Essex I normaly put it down to wildlife, I have seen a tall figure come out the bushes in day light it walks half way round the lake and then goes back into the bushes? one of the fishermen also reported the same, 2am one morning I had 4 in fishing one reported that a woman said hello about 2am in the morning, he thought it was me, I said not so likely at that time in the morning, and the same night all 4 heard a woman scream on the back field they all went to investigate and there was no one there, another guy see a woman come out of my caravan and glide accross the lake and so it goes on, the night we did the board the ducks had come in to roost and the noise they were making was very loud one even took off which is unusual for ducks they are normaly very quite at night and never normaly take off in the dark, we were doing the board on another side of the lake and we asked if that was her that was worrying the ducks she said yes so we asked her to stop, we had no more activity from the board and all the ducks settled down, we got the noise of the ducks on a recording, when my daughter gets in I will get her to upload this picture its brill.

what did the figure that come out of the bushes look like and how long did you see it for?

and how long ago was this and how many times did you see it?

It is very tall all black I see it for about 30 seconds I have seen it 3 times now but it is only when I am on the other side of the lake by the time you get round where it is its gone it kind of glides more than walks, same as what one of the fishermen see, the last time I see it was about 6 months ago, the lake is surrounded by trees so its a bit difficult to get a real good look. But it never seems to happen when there is anyone fishing on that side, well I have had no reports anyway, strange I know but I know what I see, first of all you try and make sense of it and convince yourself that its the light or your eyes playing tricks which is exactly what I thought until the fisherman told me what he see, eerie or what.

Sorry so engrosed in getting the photo on here forgot to answer your questions.

Thank you for the warm welcome Flossy, my daughter came to the rescue.

October Yes we should do that my daughter is 26 and she is getting into this now bit by bit but she is still nervous to go to the lake when its getting dark, she can relate to you big time she gets voices in her head and she wants it to go away, she is the one you should talk to, she thinks something and it happens?

Cactus the lake and surroundings has lots of history my field beside the lake has at some time had a building you can see it on google earth, I know that the place was used during the Napoleonic Wars it was used as a water source and they had the French prisoners down there trying to drain the place as there are lots of fresh water springs, as for a murder I have never looked into it wouldn't know where to start.

The photo of the face has been cropped to bring it closer but if anyone would like to see the full photo then my daughter will put it on.

It makes me nervous too . I think there would be comfort in talking to someone with similar experience. x

from what i can see, it does look like a face but i think it could be shades in the tree, have you tried to take another picy in the same spot to see if it comes up again?

Hi Flossy, yes we have we have taken more photos in the daylight and at night but the face is no where to be seen, we have been there today and took more photos and have scrutinised the trees and bushes from all angles and no face, I wish I could say that it is a pattern in a tree but its not, at least that would explain it, we never see the face until we put the photos on the computer and we all at the same time said omg. I will put the photo on and also the one with 13 orbs., and the one with a man peering from the bushes. Now can anyone explain what orbs are?
