Hi everyone. Need some advice about my house

Am new here and I swear on my grave everything I am about to say is 100% true. I could do with some advice as I do not know what I am dealing with.

My fiance and I moved into a cottage about 2 years ago now and although in the beginning I always felt happy in the house, I never liked being alone there. After about 4 months things started happening, harmless things like the fridge would be turned off or the fridge magnets moved or doors that were locked were suddenly opened, the main site for activity was our study which used to suddenly plummit to an icy cold.... then my partner for no reason could never sleep and started suffering horrendous nightmares, then the really scary stuff started my fiance started recording in the house and swear that he can hear my voice on the tapes, but it can't be because the things he says I said I have not ever said or sometimes not even been in the house! Whatever is in that house started "placing" weird stuff like arguements in the house that never occured and conversations that I am supposed to have had but know I haven't???????

Anyway I have studied the paranormal since I was a child and knew of someone that had a strong succeptability to feeling spirits so one day my fiance and I were sitting talking about all the weird stuff that was happening and I suggested maybe bringing this person into the house, at this point all four smoke alarms went of at exactly the same time and all the doors slammed, when I said out loud "Ok, OK I wont, they all stopped. Then it got worse, voices, and just a strong presence in the house. I know about polterguists and I don't know I think this is something else/ or worse! I have checked the history of the house but I can't find anything, I feel that whatever is here does not like me and is doing everything to get me out! Can anyone help to explain how things can take place in my house that I know nothing about? My fiance swears that it is my voice on the recordings but it is not.
Getting desperate for some help now so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Confused

Why would you think this was a malevolent spirit, if it is a spirit? Everything you described is typical of basic comunication IMO. I wouldn't wory to much about it unless more negative events begin. I would also suggest not trying to comunicate with it if you don't want it there. If it is a ghost there may be too many mixed signals sent to it.
