I had an experience can anybody help

Ok 1 night i went to sleep around 10:30pm and in my room i left my door open so that i could see into my parents bedroom as their door was half open, after about 5 minutes i felt really cold for some reason and behind my parents door i saw a very white half a face sort of wearing a dress it moved behind the door like it was on a conveyer belt, then it disappeared behind the door, 2 minutes later my mum walked into her bedroom and screamed, i rushed in the room and said "whats wrong" and she said "oh nothing i just thought i saw someone move and disappear", i have then found out that an old woman died in my house and even worse, it was in my bedroom

It seems the old woman is sticking around for a while.

dont get the ouiji board out is my view
totaly up to you though isnt it.
theres a bit here somewhere all about the boards.
just cause someone died in your house(room) doesnt meen they have to be moved on. they might just be visisting , being nosy.
does it upset you that you are aware of her?
you brave enough to talk to her?
ask your mum outright and tell her what you saw.
you might get more info about it all.

Well i have lived in the house for about 2 years now,

Also i have been seeing other strange things, like my cat sometimes stares into my room and will refuse to go in, even to the point of it attacking me

I haven't actually seen her since then but that sort of creeps me out more, i have use a board before and nothing happened, i even got some copper rods and used them, they crossed a bit in my room but then actually pointed outwards like someone was pushing them, i almost forgot to say i have seen my cat sometimes layed down and i can see his ears and some fur move like someone is stroking them, i guess that this is an intelligent haunting, and to answer twinks it doesnt upset me i just want to know who or what is haunting this and to know how to talk with it

just reading your last message and like to say few things,
this lady sounds like she has conection with the house and i think if you did a history of the house i feel you might be surprised if some thing comes from it. I would never do boards they are bad there are alot of spirits out of there and you dont know what your are bringing in. The lady sounds like an old person that belongs to the house but i really say.I think its realy brill you saw her cause as a medium i dont see them i have a guide that tells me and i work it from there. just be carefull and if you ask her thing you might get questions if you see her again. remember always ask for the highest and the best for protection
