I don't think reading about the Ghost Radar will convince me. It's a gimmick and about as useful for detecting ghosts as a toaster is for washing clothes. You should read about science and scientific investigation into the paranormal

Than get your self a EMF mel meter and digital voice recorder and a digital camrea including a mini dv camcorder.
there are spirits all around you.
when pass on your spirit comes out of your body
ghost are spirits who roam the earth don't know thier dead.
this forum is about the paranormal and ghosts and ghost hunting
even flossy knows that

Hi Spirit Hunter49,
I'm not aware that there are spirits all around me and there's absolutely no proof that there are. For all I know there could be pink elephants all around me, trouble is I've got no way of proving it nor have you of proving that spirits are either (or should that be ether?).
How do you know that ghosts are spirits (surely a ghost and a spirit are the same thing?) that don't know they're dead? How did you come to that conclusion and what evidence do you have?. By evidence I mean valid, empirical evidence not 'because lot's of people have seen them' type evidence.Why would an EMF meter be able to detect a dead person as opposed to electromagnetic frequencies?. How do we know that ghosts give off EMF? where's the published papers, the research, the evidence?.
I'm well aware what this forum is about, after all it isn't called World of Ghosts for nothing so I don't really see why you need to point that out unless of course you don't think people who post pseudoscientific waffle should be challenged?.
I know about ghosts and ghost hunting. I also know how to investigate an alleged haunting or indeed any paranormal phenomena scientifically.I also fully understand the scientific method which may not be perfect but is by far the best way that we have of establishing the validity of paranormal phenomenon. I own several digital and film cameras (I'm a professional photographer) as well as mini DV camcorders and voice recorders but I use them in my work now and not investigations anymore. I've never used EMF meters, IR scopes or anything that makes a person sound like they're doing a 'scientific' investigation because these devices aren't designed to detect ghosts - because we don't know what a ghost is and they're more often than not used incorrectly anyway. (I think I've said that already). You see, I've been researching and investigating the paranormal for over 30 years and that includes places where there is a history of death, although that has very little to do with what people are actually seeing or experiencing at these locations - but that's a rather long debate in itself.
I'm not sure where you mean by 'The Nest' unless you're referring to 'The Nest' in Arizona which seems to be a purpose built haunted house attraction - like the Ghost Train. If you can provide a proper link I'll certainly take a look at it.
And I know you're not stupid by the way but then again I haven't said you are stupid since that would be insulting and unprofessional way to conduct oneself on this forum or any forum for that matter.

there is a lot of questions that go along with ghosts/the after life and the paranormal in general, questions we may never know the answer too
everyone is enititled to there own opinion on equitment used in ghost hunting, i havent used any so dont really have one
ive seen and heard things i cant explain but then again someone else might, doesnt stop me believing that what ive heard and saw was real |

that place is to be believed to be haunted by the ghost of the heavy huge guy who did all the killings..
most ghosts is appear when people take drugs or have illiness.

As I've mentioned the only 'Nest' in Arizona appears to be a purpose built Haunted House attraction. I've been to Phoenix Arizona twice on work related visits and I don't recall a major genuine haunting called 'The Nest' there. I'd appreciate a link Spirit Hunter49.

Does that not suggest that these people under the influence of drugs or compromised mental states may not be the most accurate witnesses?.

I hope Ghost Hunters look for the truth and more importantly look to rule out the logical explanations before they look for possible paranormal hypotheses. I don't personally like the word 'debunk' because it smacks of cynicism. Nearly all paranormal experiences can be explained using our extensive but still expanding knowledge of physics, cognitive psychology and neuroscience.
Going back to your original post - I really don't think a cheap phone application bought for a few Dollars is really going to detect anything and certainly not ghosts. If something shows up on the 'Ghost Radar' then it will be a randomly generated image which is part of the apps basic software. It's a gimmick, a bit of fun, nothing more.

Well I have my mel meter EMF that does work for reals, and my digital voice recorder for evps, but my smartphone has a camcorder and digital camrea,
but as for emf that is natural, ghost hunters stuff of the main power to house so they don't get faulse readings.
but if that does not please you, you can consider spirit rods.
with a mel meter you can ask basic questions to ghost and get evps along with a change of emf readings.
ghost radar might be mear app, but remenber it detects natural emf.
i tested it near my computer and near circut breaker box not readings.
but think, just think, what if they made a hand held ghost sesor?
look at paranormal state emf meter app for Iphone, Do you pooh pooh that?
If you mess with an oujiaboard would be attacked by spirit?
Would you take a chance opening a porthole of the unknown?
I advise you this halloween is to go out to old house that had horriable past to it and and see and record what in there.

the gory bloodly truth about it.
before it came a halloween tourist site.
the floors there still have the blood soak stains there and the smell of death is there.
there are other paranormal tools out there,
my favorite is the mel meter
GHOST RADAR? Radom words? yesterday there was nothing on the ghost radar radom?

OK, I've bought the Ghost Radar for my iphone and it works! and only 99 cents!(63p). In the space of half an hour I've found 6 ghosts in the house (half of which were in the toilet which is rather worrying) that I never knew we had. That'll explain why there's sometimes an evil smell in there then. 
Since it was only 99 cents(63p) I bought the Ghost Cam app as well (99 cents(63p) - another bargain) allowing me to make my own very convincing misty ghost pics which I intend to publish all over the internet whilst claiming 'I didn't see anything when I took it' and 'I know what I saw!' just to confuse people.
Ghost japery has never been so cheap.

A phone cannot detect EMF. A 63p app is a gimmick Spirit Hunter49 can't you see that?.
I've tested this Ghost Radar. It generates random images on the screen that are nothing to do with ghosts.
