I took this photo a few years ago. My mum and I were walking through a forest but we felt some sort of heaviness in the air that spooked us so we turned round and walked back. When I checked the photos, I found something spooky.

Can you see the figure of a person on the left hand side? If you look to the figure's right and up a bit, you can also make out the figure of a girl holding her hands in prayer. It looks like it might be a brother and a sister to me (they look like they might be a young girl and boy), but to be honest it could be anything. What do you think? Ghosts? Or can it be explained away?

I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this!

I can't see anything.

I think this might explain it:

I actually didn't see the girl the first time, until my mum pointed her out to me.

They're random patterns in the background foliage and dead leaves IMO. They don't even vaguely look like people.

Confused

I initially thought the same, except the figure of the boy can still be seen next to the fencing. The girl I admit is rather vague, but I can make out legs and a torso and even an arm on the boy.

EDIT:

Flossy - Sadly, I don't have other pictures of that exact area to match it to. I've looked on other shots and can't see anything ghostly though.

Yes this is indeed Pareidolia, I see what you are looking at and I have analysed it. It is manythings which in colouration make up a faint odd shaped figure shape. Thankyou for the challenge. Great stuff.
You'll know when its paranormal , it'll drain the battery lol. Keep taking those pics and one day.

Glad you liked the challenge. I see where you're coming from with the Pareidolia. I just really want to capture a real ghost. Yeah, one day. And the battery did actually drain... but unfortunately that is because the camera is old and therefore crap *sigh* XD

It will happen. The key to it as far as photography goes is to take loads of pictures , but realy take the tme to check them all. Plus learn as much as you can, it is very important to know what you are looking far. Keep up the great pro-active work and never give in!
Nice to meet you. Iain.

I can perceive the images exactly as you describe with no difficulty. Looks like irrefutable proof to me. I have included the relevant section of your image with outlines shown. The boy's figure is more distinct, as for the girl I just marked her back, head and left arm.
Any chance you could nip back and take a few more shots from the same location?

Oh of course, now I see them Rolling Eyes
The one at the back appears to be using a mobile phone as well.

'Irrefutable proof' of what?
