I doubt very much if there is an undiscovered hominid in the forests of north America. There is no real evidence. But to believe in the possibility does not require me to abandon all I know about zoology and biology! So I'll reserve judgment on that. I doubt it, but don't reject it. It would take a captured specimen to convince me.

I'd tend to agree with you there. There is an increasing amount of research being done by respected academics and investigators in the field that may one day yield evidence in the form of a body or tissue sample.
