I guess there's really no way to know for sure unless you did it by yourself, which people say you should NEVER to do.
I remember when I was like 12 or 13 my friend and I tried to do a seance, we had no idea what we were doing. We tried to contact Hitler, why I dont know. Anyway so we were just bullshitting, but then a book fell off the shelf and when we went to see what book it was, it was a history book about world war 2. Strange coincidence. |

That was a strange coincidence - you hear these kind of stories a lot, and I don't think they can all be coincidences  |

Nearly every week in the UK someone matches six numbers to six randomly drawn numbers from a machine - what a coincidence?

It's not really 14 million to 1 DB, because how many people are doing the lottery? 14 million or more? It is nearly guaranteed someone will win every week or two when you calculate the odds.
But what are the odds that when this girl did a seance and tried to contact Hitler that a WW2 book fell off the shelf? Calculate that |

It depends upon how many books there were on the shelves and the range of subject matter that they covered. |

| Well the shelves themselves were big but they weren't packed with books there were CD's and other random stuff too. I thought it was strange when it happened, so I did actually look at the books on shelf I can't remember what books were there I do know that that was the only one about WW2. I'm not saying that it worked and we did contact Hitler because like I said we really didn't have any idea what we were doing. It was just weird. |

Not really. I would imagine a book on WW2 has a very high probability of Hitler being in it somewhere, he's usually mentioned on page Nein!
