'D.B Sweeny was connected to Bad ghost when they attact your other site'
The article in question posted on Bad Ghosts on 14.04.2008 was written by Bobdezon who I can assure you is not me. If by 'connected to Bad Ghosts' you mean 'read the article' then yes I was but by that logic if you read an article about the Holocaust I could say you were connected to it Iain
I'll buy you whatever item of Ghost Hunting equipment you want if you can prove that I attacked Project-Reveal by writing that article on Bad Ghosts Iain. If you can't then a simple apology will suffice matey

No worries Iain I'm sure we've all reacted in situations where our emotions have got the better of us at some time.
The review on Bad Ghosts by Bobdezon was very critical and a wee bit sarcastic. Personally in that situation I'd have come right back at Bob and given as good as I'd got.
I also think Project-Reveal are a level headed team and certainly open to constructive input - as my post on their last investigation shows.
I'm flattered that you want my views on the subject and I'll post a condensed version in due course - please don't think my views are necessarily correct as I'm open to change any of them if a persuasive argument is made. I'd welcome any comments or even challenges from either yourself or anyone who wants to post.

I look farward to the input. Ive put that little orb/dust/flee/hedgehog vid on the other blogg thing if you wanna take a look. Its interesting.I only had the camera in there 25 mins. Wierd little iluminated light. If you look closely it appears to change its shape a few tmes. sort of sparking out..its a bit pixelated due to the distance and it was in total black. Im quite sure it wasn't a bug,,it moves wrong. Then I thought it could be dust rising on the thermals of a radiator, but theywere switched of. and it appears and disappears in mis illumination. Well have a look and let me know. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogv2UCdsWXw |

IMO a thermal imaging camera wouldn't be much use for detecting ghosts. I'm sure it would be an impressive piece of kit but it'd be about as much use as an inkjet printer cartridge.
Before anyone 'attacks me' on that comment as I continue my fight as a keyboard warrior - I've used a TIC on investigations (not my own) and can give reasons from my experience as to why I don't think they are useful for detecting ghosts.

lol, that was funny..you fell defensive streight away...
I want to use it to measure temprature changes in an imediate area. Its interesting that for thousands of years people have recorded a drop in temprature just before or during activity. Ive got my theorys on that, but was wanting to watch for variables in atmospheric temprature in real time.
When tv programes use them I belly laugh... |

Hi Iain,
A thermal Imaging system will only detect temperature changes on objects or people. It won't detect changes in ambient atmospheric temperatures.
A thermal imaging system, whether cooled or not, provides only outlines of the heat contrast on an individual or object - Laura Spadanuta: Shedding light on night time surveillance.
www.securitymanagement.com/article/shedding-light-nighttime-surveillance-005251
Several good quality digital thermometers are your best bet for measuring atmospheric temperature drops.

There are people who Im sure will point you in the direction of new and wonderfull video cameras at great cost, but I use two Sony hi8 handycams and they have great night vision when used with Sony IR illuminators. They record to tape which can be used as a video negative for examination if ness. I had a sony disk cam, but it didn't like the cold and kept meeing the disks up and the hard drive ones are as bad. The one with a built in light is the ccd-TRV218 PAL it has never let me down and the IR is the green bright type. It has a side opening lcd view finder and I love it..Very tough.." Ive dropped it three times" and it just keeps going.
Hope this was of help.. |
