these pictures were taken at my neighbours house 2 weeks ago, most people will say it looks like cigarette smoke, only thing is my neighbour doesnt smoke in her house, she goes outside, so thats why i think its strange, to me in the first picture it looks like the shape of a body floating on its stomoch around my mate, and on the second one it looks like 'something' has got its arm around my friends shoulder? what do you all think? cheers

The degree of illumination that they have ie very bright indicates that whatever 'it' is is both:
a) very small and
b) very close the the camera lens and therefore the flash unit since the brightness is due to the flash
It's highly unlikely that these are spirits or any kind of supernatural energy - probably just hairs, smoke etc very near the lens/flash of the camera.

ok, smoke can come out of the equation though as nobody smokes in the house but i suppose it could be something else. I just thought it was strange as the first picture looks like the shape of a body and in the second picture if you look closely it looks like the light is going from the left of him behind his head and back around his shoulder, if it was smoke etc you would see the same across his face wouldn't you? rather than it looking like something is actually going behind him then coming back in front of him? cheers |

As we have all seen this type of "phenomenon", it would
be interesting to recreate it....if it perhaps is a hair on the lens.
Would you be willing to recreate this possibly?
I do hope it would not be a hair on the lens.... |

IMO it's not hair, I would be interested in the shutter speed and ap settings used for the pics before I speculate further. Also when re-creating it use the same camera settings. |

as mrx3010 says, the exif data would be very useful. The anomaly is obviously being illuminated by the camera flash, I don't think anyone could reasonably doubt that. As to what it is remains as yet unknown but ghostly wisps are unlikely.
The guys dancing would probably scare any ghost away.
