this might seem like a daft question but im curious
can anyone tell when its going to rain through smell
this morning i was taking my youngest to school and i said to her "its going to rain" she asked me how i knew and i said i can smell it
she just laughed at me, but sure enough about 5mins later it started to chuck it down
i told my mum yday the same thing, she laughed at me too
ive always been able to smell it and i thought everyone else could too
its not just me is it |

Yeah, I always no if its going to rain or thunder because I can smell it in the air. And if the cows are sat down in the field then you know its definately going to rain |

Yep, I too can smell the rain.
Allot of people I know can, I thought everyone could smell
the rain.
Guess since we live out here in the desert the smell of rain
is an easy thing to do. |

Many times Ive seen a field full of cows with approx half standing and half lying down, maybe it was to confuse people.
Have also seen a field full of cows lying down with a single bovine standing, it would of worked great as a motivational poster with the title "optimism" |

The cows seem to know the British weather well, they are as indecisive as the weather.
That would work rather well |

For me, I think there are some who are extra sensitive especially in their olfactory nerve and they can predict something out of it but is it always accurate? Like in 20 predictions that you says it will rain, how many did you got? Because nowadays, you can predict just buy looking at the sky, for example, it at night, when you see no stars, then one can hypothesize that it will gonna rain, right? |
