Recent personal experience

Wierd thing happened to me last weekend. I was staying at a hotel in Lincoln (UK) and during the night i got so hot, I threw the covers off because it felt like my feet were burning. I got a cold drink and went back to sleep didn't think about it anymore. In the morining my feet had a weird feel to them, like they were numb and bright red and I'd got a blister on the top of my left foot. When I checked out I told the receptionist about the room being to hot, which is when she told me that the air con had been on all night long. I was a bit weirded out so I googled the hotel and found out that there was a fire there 80-ish years ago, 3 people had died on the 3rd floor (where i was staying) and a young girl had to have her foot amputed because it was so badly burnt.

I'm thinking about going back there to investigate it but just thought I'd share this. If anyone else would like to go I think its called the Dukes Head.

I'm going back weekend after next and staying 2 nights in 2 different rooms on the 3rd floor - and I cant wait.

I'm going a bit lightweight though as there will only be 2 of us so thats one video camera and one digital camera hopefully should be something good - I'll post if i get anything.

Put some "suntan" lotion on your feet, might help keep em from getting burned.. Laughing

So you had no knowledge of the history of the hotel until after your experience.
Now that is really eerie!

Maybe you can also take some EVP readings while your at it.
Can't wait to read your findings.

Twirly, besides the suntan lotion maybe a fire extinguisher should also be on your list. Laughing
