I was told that we died fifty years before we were born. Therefore if you were born in 1990 then you would have died in 1940, Hence during the war. They said our spirit needs fifty years to recover from the shock of dying. Does anyone believe in that. Kev. |

Not sure to be honest, as I don't neccessarily believe that time is the same for the spirit as for us. Mind you, the chap who's life I inadvertently ended up studying died 47 years before I was born, so who knows?
One thing though, the popukation's constantly increasing, so where do all the "new" spirits come from? Surely there must be more now than there were a couple of thousand years ago? Could it be possible for a spirit to "split" amoeba like? Just a random thought. |

I have heard that new souls can be born, that haven't been born before.
Also I read that the timespan for rebirth is around 75 years. Although if a person dies before their time, they can be reborn almost immediately.
(only what I read) |

I never thought of the extra spirits before, but as you say the population has grown massively over the years. I was told this back in 1982 by a family friend and psychic, It's always stuck in my mind. I think the fifty years bit depended on how damaged the former spirit was after death, so perhaps 47 years could be possible. Kev. |

Keeping in mind that the concept of "time" is a man-made one. 75 years for us could be a wink on an eye for a spirit. |

i remember my own niece telling me when she was around 3 yrs old and it was coming up to her birthday, she said "you can come to my party and so can mam and dad, but my real mam and dad cant come coz they are in heaven now "
you can imagine mine and her mothers face when she said that, when trying to quiz her about it she simply said, "you know, my real mam and dad " like we should have known what she was talking about lol.
strange, but true xxx |

That IS a strange thing to hear a kid say. I would have quizzed the kid more myself. |

When I was around 3 or 4 I used to tell my nan about how I lived on a farm with my husband Jack and all our children.
I also use to wander around our back garden with a stick and say I was on the farm looking after the sheep.
Whether this was a past life I don't know.
It's strange how children seem to be around pre school age when they mention a supposedly past life.
I would definately have past life regression given the chance. |
