I did alot of "urban exploration" and many sites were guarded. Bought a few bits of equipment to just get into places. Night vision scope always comes in handy and I even used to carry a small selection of lock picks, can do a yale lock in under 4 seconds. ... When I do go out to play I only carry 2 at most, easily ditched or securely hidden if need be. ...
