Today i went to my father in laws old house to take an old fridge to the tip, he's in an old peoples home and the house is getting cleaned up to put out for rent.
Anyway after i'd got the fridge in the back of my car, i don't know what made me do it but i took a picture through the kicthen window at the empty kitchen, Not sure why, i guess its pretty sad as there are a lot of fond memories there especially when the Mother in law was alive some 10 odd years ago.
Anyway thinking nothing of it i showed my other half and she says that there is an image of her mum in the window??? I looked and sure enough there is and its almost a spitting image of her mum
Its not a reflection of me because if you look carefully at the mircrowave above the cooker you can actually see me with my Baseball cap, and Black fleece, Also the phone and case is covering up a good part of my face, and there was no one else there with me at all. My reflection also shows a dark shadow over my left shoulder which would tally with the reflection on the window..... Take a peek

i cant make out an image of a face, i can see what resembles an eye
i think its a relection of something, maybe something you didnt realise was there at the time, shadows and light reflecting off the window could of caused it too? |

Any chance of outlining what you believe to be a human figure? |

do you have blue eyes by any chance?
I can see the your hood and an eye, then what id presume to be the phone and case blocking out anything else.
Just a double reflection, thats the problem with taking pictures through glass. |

Ok Here is the photo again with what i can see marked out on it
As you can see my reflection in Microwave the middle of my face is covered by the phone and you cannot see my eyes if that was reflected onto the window the surely it would almost be a mirror copy of my face with cap and dark fleece on and showing the phone also??
The fact that my partner said it was her mum because of the blue eyes made it even more spooky.
Also the Dark shaowdow behind me in my microwave reflectionis in the right position if something was going to be reflected on the glass.
if the sun was reflecting on the glass, surely i would see it also and move before taking the picture but that would only be if it was a reflection of me, I'm pretty positive that there was no reflection at all when i took the picture, and only found out about the "Face" when i showed it to my partner and had to look twice! |

I was there on my own, Surely if i saw a reflection it would be a reflection of me, a mirror image with the Phone Up to my face taking the Picture, you can see in the Microwave area my eyes are not shown so if its a reflection of me then where is the phone and my dark clothing?? |

No this was his own house in Gosfield, He recently moved to an old peoples home in Braintree and is not that happy about it, My mother in Law died over 10 years ago and i got on very well with her, She loved that house and the gardens, I guess she can't be very happy that her own children want to rent the House out. |

It is just random patterns caused by light reflecting IMO. |

You reflection in the microwave would be different from your reflection in the window because of the viewing angles.
The shadow on the microwave is in the wrong side to contribute to the image on the left.
Double exposure from photographing through glass, freak lught reflection and pareidolia. |

After you outlined the picture, I can see somewhat of a profile. |
