|
|
Hello
I recently posted here and was happy with the speed of answers and help so thought id ask another question that had bothered me for a while..
What is the difference between a ouija board and glass divination ? Are they both supposedly dangerous as the other or is one safer than other ?
I believe if you take cautions in whatever you do and do it right respecting the spirits and sticking to rules there is no problem in either. what is your opinion also ?
Thank you for any answers. |

What is glass divination?
Do the spirits on the other side follow those rules though?
Regardless I for one will leave Ouija Boards alone.
Could you explain what glass divination is?
Thanks Ace. |

Hello bitterbuck1
Glass divination is using just using a glass and table instead of plancette and a board.. Less information available through it thats as much as i know so far. not much info about it. Just wanna know if it is as risky.
Thank you for your opinion tho :) |

It was probably devised by a T.V. show as a simpler, easier to fake process.
Just making a glass appear to move is less demanding than spelling out anything other than gibberish. |

Inn is right, it was probably devised from Most Haunted, they did it on a live show. However Glass Divination is possible.
Glass Divination Pro's:
Safer To Do
Glass Divination Cons:
Not Enough Information Retrieved
Ouija Board Pro's:
A Lot Of Information Retrieved
Ouija Board Cons:
Some say ouija boards are evil, im in favour of this. They open a portal to the other side and anything could get through and pretend that they are the spirit you are trying to contact. They could cause you mayhem or worse hurt you. I would personally reccomend you leave ouija boards alone. |

glass divination...... thats how i did it (only once)when i was young in the 70s. you still get words spelt out,the glass moves to the letters.
no diference to other ways i feel, just as bad. |

That constitutes a Ouija board using a glass instead of a planchette. No difference at all. |

hmm yes im intrigued on this bit. If it worked for you, then this would be a much safer way of making contact rather than a Ouija Board. Sure its only a yes and no answer, but that would be enough if you asked the questions as a yes or no question. Please tell us more Ace, this could be a breaktrough against Ouija Boards. |

I am not sure if its a safer way thats why i am here asking lol
it did work.. i believe it worked unless i was being punked lol I asked are you male ? which he replied yes. are you female ? he replied no. i then asked the alphabet asking to go to the light if there name started with that letter.. He went to the light on E.. i went through names i had on a list it turns out hes name was edward.. i asked did he die here ? he said yes.. i asked was you hung ? he said yes.. and just stuff like that like was he married , how old he was by going through ages.. he was married to someone called laina who he tried to protect because she was hung also for witchy stuff lol its alot harder then ouija board because you have to ask more.. |

hmmm, thats intresting. It would be more work, but i still reckon its safer than a ouija board. I'd rather do more work than have an evil spirit roaming around my house. So you used a torch or some kind of light too? |

I had a couple of white scented candles around the room.. but doubt it matters to much whether you use a torch or just have lights dimmed.. Its something that i have always been fasinated in but alot of people dont believe or even think the ouija board or glass should be done but again i think if research it and know what your doing then you shouldnt have any problems. |

well, thats true, i still belive that the glass is safer than a ouija board. I dunno why i just beleive that lol. Ok, i might try this sometime, coz my house is haunted with 1 or more spirits, i know that now. Thanks for the info ace and update us if you do anything else :P |
