Look at the hair, it is more in tune with someone jumping than floating. Dead giveaway.. no pun intended. |

Myself, Personally, I believe that there was something happening with the girls partically the one, JANET. BUT
I have the feeling that they tried to make their storys plauseable by faking evidence.
THere were some witnesses who came forward who apparently saw JANET levitating . A lollipop lady and a passing baker both glanced up at the house and through a top-floor window saw Janet apparently hovering above her bed. But obviously it is not much of a view from out on the street to an upstairs window so therefore,i would not take that as credible witnessing, especially when ou could not see the bed from the window.
Th girls were caught playing hoaxes on their investigators many times and on occasion they were caught hiding the one investigators tape recorder and were planning on telling the investigator that it was the poltergeist that done it but the girls did not realise the recorder was actually recording their entire conversation.
The investigator did defend them on this though and said, They were children and that if they were not playing tricks on us then they would not have been normal children, but the tricks they played were always proven and yet some of the evidence recorded or caught and seen by other eye witnessness were way out of the league of a prankster.
I did notice in that footage about the Enfield Poltergeist though, Janet did admit that she and her sister played practical jokes but justified it by saying about the amount of times they were tested and investigation and treated like a freak show, or caged animals.
So I would say with the pranks put aside and the far fetched ideas of levitating etc, Physcokinesis has a role to play.
Many reported cases of poltergeist activity revolve around the presence of an adolescent girl who is present during the episodes. This has lead investigators to believe that poltergeist activity may not be attributed to a ghostly visitor, but to the young lady who experiences it. Many hold the theory that the manifestation of poltergeist activity is actually Recurrent Spontaneous Psychokinesis. The theory states that psychokinetic energy may unconsciously leave the body of an emotionally charged person who is harboring repressed emotions, such as, anger, fear, or rage which manifest themselves as physical disturbances of the immediate surroundings. |

You may be right, by trying to make it bigger than what it was by faking the evidence diminishes all credibility as seen by this thread. |
