Thx DB, have you got any theories on how these things were possible?
|
yeah DB I would be interested in hearing your theories too - especially talking with her false vocal chords for hours on end, when medically and physically it is meant to be impossible.
GavKnight, It depends, how would someone look if they were pulled out of bed by an invisible entity? That photo can be argued either way - for me her talking as Bill is probably the strongest evidence - not just the voice, but the things she said. |

True cactus, I'd say that was the strongest evidence and you are right about the photo but my first impresion when i saw it for the first time was 'shes jumping' , like i said it's a shame there wasn't video evidence of that occurance so you could see exactly how she was pulled out of bed and thrown. |

another thing was the movement of furniture on its own reported by neutral witnesses, and objects being thrown, a cameraman was even hit with a legobrick that was thrown by an invisible entity |

She did look distressed in the photo and i think the guy investigating was in the room when she was thrown out of the bed, shame there was no video footage though as the photo does look like she was jumping |
Unfortunately Gav we'll never know for sure because over 30 years have passed. Witness testimony can't be checked, memories will certainly be flawed and due to the lack of recording technology that we now take for granted we don't have an accurate visual record of those events.

It is one of if not the most talked about haunting in the country, even police officers beleived in the enfield poltergeist. I do think this was genuine but the children did themselves no favours by faking some of the occurances |

Thx for the reply DB. I think i'm going to get a copy of the 2 books you mentioned earlier in the thread, they sound like they're a good read. |

Well said Gav, they certainly didn't. If I have time tomorrow I'll post some quotes from the older Janet.
I'd definitely recommend you read the two books mate, they're well worth it.

I agree. If you see Janet now she is still very nervous looking and must be still traumatised. |
