ok Chapter 3 (ha now im a book )
We went in to the cellar, the place i saw the man, it still gives me shivers just talking about it (or indeed blogging about it) i could act like i wasnt scared or tell you guys about how i fought the ghosts away with my brute strength alone but the truth is i was really scared at that point, and asking the ghost to pop out and say hello was even worse.
in the first 30 minutes we spent down there nothing really happened so ray asked if we should move on itold him i had a feeling about it and just after i said that i felt a hand on my shoulder, i turned to see that same man again but it was weird he seemed to have burns along his face and this time i could hear crying i turned and grabbed ray but the man had gone, i felt so sick and i was trembling so much i decided to call it a night |

Act 4 (now im a play, to ghost hunt or not to ghost hunt that is the question)
at that night ihid straight under the covers and heard ray tell me to "F$*k off" i went into his room and asked what i had done and he told me that i kept grabbing the back of his shirt, i told him i was in my room the whole time and he said and i quote "quit lying , youre only trying to make me believe all ' this ghost crap" i went back to my room after realising he is so stubborn a ghost could beat him at chess then slap him in the face and he wouldn't believe.
i had been lying there for about 20 minutes (it felt like 20 years) when i heard dogs barking and a scratching at my door, then all of a sudden i heard a tapping i sounded like hail britannia i dont remember what happened after that, only feeling more comfortable that i knew my grandfather was there with me i i remember feeling safe and i wasn't scared anymore it was weird, but i dont think i'll be going back soon, scratch that.... ever |

ok i'll start at the beginning, at the beginning of the night, i think i told you we heard footsteps so the first place we investigated was the attic, it was really creepy up there (last time i investigated i didn't go up and i could hear things up there while in bed) firstly i started with the whole "if youre hear please let us know" at that point we heard a knocking on the wall in the tune of hail britannia (crazy i know) but i remembered that it was my grandfathers favourite song since he was very patriotic, i looked at my brother who pointed at a wooden rocking horse, it was moving and noone/thing was there at that point we ran out of the attic and never went back. |
Brilliant!!
So you didn't get the chance to "ask" your your Grandfather
any questions while you were in the attic?
I'll admit, I too would be a bit beside myself. |

To your knowledge had there ever been a fire at the home?
(I realize that something tragic could have happened at this location before your
Grandfathers house was ever built.)
The crying you heard, was it male or female...a child's cry?

So apparently there were no dogs at the house with you.
There is something about scratching that gets my nerves in a bundle.
Scares the bejesus out of me.
It's cool that your Grandfather made it known he was with you those two times.
By chance did you take any photos?
I do hope you change your mind and go back to the house.
That house is a gold mine for ghost hunting.
Maybe you should take a group of people and do a thorough hunt.
You would have people beating down the doors to
have an experience like that!

well i asked outloud if it was my grandfather and the banging of the song got much louder, i'll look into the fire thing , it sounded like a little girl crying and sort of a man who kept saying "shhh", in response the scratching was probably the second worst thing, the man being the worst.
unfortunately i didnt bring my camera because it broke the last tim i was there (spooky)
I have asked my friend alex if he wanted to come along, he lives in a haunted house too so we are going to head down there as soon as we can
i'll tell everyone here if i plan to go and i'll take my laptop and keep you all updated |

That's great that you will be going back to the house.
Do you have access to some type of recorder?
Getting these sounds/voices on tape would be awesome.
Maybe you can borrow a camera to take with you.
I think we would all like to see if you can catch
anything on film.
Good luck!

Mitchy is there any paranormal group in the area?
This house would be perfect for a "hunt"!
A definite hot spot. |

Is there any way to find out who lived there at the time? |
