flossy, i know a lot about scoliosis as my daughter has it, if its a slight curve then there is a chance it can straighten up on its own, but the bigger the curve the less chance there is of that happening

sorry to hear about your daughter having this condition |

I don't believe in miracles in a religious god given sense. I believe that we have an amazing capacity for biological repair that sometimes defies science - if some people want to call that a miracle and thank their god that's fine by me, but it irks.

D B Sweeney, if you dont believe in life after death, then what is the point of life? - we are the only known intelligent life with a conscience etc... |

Dolphins, apes and elephants are intelligent, research has shown they have some degree of self awareness also.
My problem Cactus is that I don't see much proof that there's life after death. Out of all the people that have ever died - none have ever come back to tell us what it's like over there.

DB ill make a pact with you - whichever one of us dies first - if there is life after death we'll come back to show the other

a lot more than you think - i read once that the US Navy Seals had trained dolphins to put bombs on submarines, but they wouldnt do it after a while - and the military scientists actually believe it was because of the purpose they refused

And parrots too, I wached one do some stitching on t.v.
I rekkon nobody has come back to tell us about it because perhaps it's not so easy maybe life is all about something that when we are dead we understand and then don't want to come back. Perhaps we are held back and it's just not possible or perhaps some have and do but because science doesn't understand it it is dismissed, that would explane all the hauntings going and it's the first obvious explanation. |

How do you explain all the interactive spirit sightings and the communications relayed via mediums?.
Lot's of people have said they would come back if they could - Houdini was one and I'm sure there have been many involved in the scenarios like the film 'Ghost' who were taken unintentionally. But apart from the cold reading generalisations of mediums we still have no real evidence that we survive physical death.
