ok this was about maybe 9/10 yr ago now
me and a few friends went away for a girly weekend at a bb it was called The Ship, there was me my sister and sister-inlaw sharing a room, we had all been out and had a good day, we were leaving early the next day so decided to get an early night
we were all chatting lying in bed, when i got a text from my partner so phoned him rather than texting him back, i was on the phone for a good 20min or so, when i was finnished i put my phone down and looked over to my sister inlaws bed and saw her sitting on the edge of the bed she was useing tissues to take her makeup off but licking the tissue then wipeing her face, i thought this was very odd, she seemed to be laughing while doing it, i giggled at her and said what are you doing, she was just looking at me and giggleing, but i didnt hear it, it was like she was giggling under her breath
then i looked at her pillow and saw my sis-inlaw fast asleep, my sister was asleep in the other bed
i looked back at her and she was still sitting laughing at me, so i quickly hid under the blanket
now i always said if i saw a ghost i would run and you wouldnt see me for dust lol
but i couldnt move, i was scared to even breath to loud i was getting hot and cold sweats
i eventually plucked up the courage to have another look, and to my relief she was gone, i looked over to my sis inlaw and i saw a head above my sis inlaws head looking at the ceiling, i stared at it for a couple of seconds then it turned to look at me and i went back under the blankets and didnt budge till i heard someone wake up lol
when we went down for breakfast i told the landlady what happened and she said that room is very creepy the cleaners wont go in alone, they have to go in pairs or it doesnt get done
its something i have never forgot lol

Spooky stuff Flossy,
Especilly the bit with the head staring at the celling.
How do you feel about the experience now?
Do you beleive this was a haunting or do you think this was a halucination of some kind?

Sounds like a no doubt ghost to me.

very interesting - did you ever go back to the ship?

the sister in law that was giggling at you - did it look exactly like her?

then the head above her head - was there no body and what did the head look like?

did you have any other experiences?

i believe it was a ghost but it did look a little like my sister inlaw, it looked very solid not see through at all

i have been back to the ship but never to sleep over
the head just looked like a head with no body, very creepy, i just stared at it cos i couldnt believe what i was seeing
ive seen and felt other stuff too over the years
i once saw a dog in my mums old house,i was about 10yrs old, i was in my room just sitting and i heard someone coming up the stairs, from my room i could see the top of the stairs so i was sitting waiting to see who it was, and a big black dog came up, it stoped and looked at me then walked on
at the time our neighbour had a dog like that and i thought maybe my parents were looking after it.
in the morning i asked mum where the dog was, she didnt know what i was on about, when i told her what i saw she said the neighbours dog had died 2 days earlier
a few year later my mum told me she saw a dog and a man in her bedroom mirror a few month before Shocked

its at newbiggin its a bb by the sea, other than the cleaners feeling spooked out the landlady didnt say if anyone else saw anything
we went home that morning so didnt get a chance to ask the rest of the staff
