What is a "Spirit"?

heres an answer from my site that may be in line with what you may be thinking solstice .

A very popular theory is that they are made up of the natural electromagnetic energy that the human body has inside itself. This theory is popular because very often during ghost hunts in haunted places and other places of paranormal phenomena, EMF readings that are unexplainable and erratic are caught on EMF detectors. You may be wondering what else a ghost may be made up of besides EMFs.

Well, one man thought that the human soul is made up of something that holds a little more weight. Duncan McDougall tried to prove that the human soul was actually made up of some kind of mass. He performed an experiment with five dying patients by weighing them before and after their death. He found that their bodies actually hat lost a couple of ounces after those patients had died. It seems that there may be more to the soul than just EMFs but what exactly is it? This we may not ever know.

21 grams seems a bit high for a soul mass, so I'd guess there are other reasons for the weight loss. I'll have to find a more practical way of proving my theory than just weighing people

This is really interesting. I'm trying to rack my brains regarding the weight loss. The only thing I wondered is (TMI) that when we die, we are supposed to excrete body fluids, could this be the weight loss?
Do you know how long after death the bodies were weighed?

From my encounters with spirit I along with my team belive that in simple words a ghost is a playback of a past event this is why many ghosts do not and cannott interact with the living as they are just a image been playback from the past.

A spirit is the part of a living being or animalthat survives after life and contiues on in a new form, this is why they can intract with the living if they chose to.

Basically a "ghost" is a residual haunting and a "spirit" is a intelligent's haunting..
