Whats your opinion on ghosts taking over body...

Hi everyone. I've just signed up to this site in the hope of finding some people that know a little about this supernatural stuff.

Here goes... Has anyone heard of ghosts/spirits using a living persons body? Like, the living person falls asleep only for the ghost to appear in their body? What is your opinion on this? Would it have to be a really strong ghost and host? I'd reeeeally appreciate hearing others experiences on this. Is there a name for this?

Also, what about ghosts blowing out lights. Is that a little more common?

Hi Flossy,

It has happened to me many times now. Suprisingly it wasn't that scary the first time. I knew/know the girl that came through so although I was shocked, and didn't fully believe it at first, I was overwhelmed with emotion more then anything.

Have you ever heard of this happening before? My friend that comes through can't answer my questions on why she is here or for how long. She says we can't talk about it because "its against the rules". I'm trying to piece together what her reasons might be and how this could be possible. Anything really, just want to understand it.

. Before she came through, lights would blow out while I was under them. Not explode, just go out. I was beginning to think I had powers (ok now I sound crazy but what was I supposed to think??) One night I was headed to a concert with some friends and as we were walking, the street light went out. Then during the night, I was in the public toilets and when I turned the tap on to wash my hands, the lights over the mirror went out. I started joking to my friends that I had the power to blow out lights. Then when we were walking back to the car at the end of the night, I pointed up to the street light above us and said "watch this" as a joke. When I pointed up at the light, it went out.. My mates couldn't believe it, and I didn't know what the hell was happening to me. My friend, the "ghost"? told me later that it was her just having some fun. Apparently it amused her to watch me think I was a superhero lol

I'll admit that I don't know anything of the paranormal.
But if a spirit "used" my body without an invitation...I'd be one worried puppy.

Spirits are not always who you think they are.
They're not always of good intentions.

yeh i have had some ghost blow out my lights and had things smashed on my kitchen floor

crystalleez how do you know for sure its your friend, like quiver said spirits are not always who you think they are, have you asked questions what only you and your friend will know just to be sure it is her

ive heard everyone has a spirit guide,but im not to sure. ive got an idea mine is my nan.as when i feel ill or am in hospital i can always smell lavender.dont really know if it is linked to her being my guide or not.

have you heard of gardian angels, i think spirit guild is more or less the same thing, from what ive heard they guild you on the right path whether or not you choose that path is your choice

I personally don't think it can.. I believe that it can influanse you to make you think it has "if" you let it.

so how do you know if your been influenced off a higher force, its scary when you think you could be lead like that, if its in the right direction then i dont mind Laughing
