Why is Toyota and Honda using NiMH battery for their hybrid cars where as Tesla using Li- ion battery.?
Why is Toyota and Honda using NiMH battery for their hybrid cars where as Tesla using Li- ion battery. whats the big difference and which one is the best for everyday use?

Ah, yes a ghost forum.
Sorry, can't answer your question on the reasons why or
why not Honda or Toyota are using the NiMH battery on
their hybrid cars.
Possibly the answer may lie at a Honda or Toyota website.

Your powers of research and reasoning have brought you to ask a very valid question on completely the wrong forum. However - knowing a bit about the merits of the two battery types I'd suggest that the Nickel Metal Hydride battery offers greater sustained power output and a longer life than a Lithium Ion battery. The best battery for everyday use IMO is the NiMH battery.
