Me and my friend Megan go to the cinema and we're always shoved into screen 2, which is haunted, every time I then get home, I feel as if I'm being watched.
Tonight, valentines day, myself, Megan and my boyfriend Jordan went to see a horror film, praying not to be in screen 2 - but we were. My eyes were constantly drawn to the bottom left hand corner of the room and Megan had to keep my distracted (she believes in them too). I got home and snuggled up with my boyfriend on my bed, and I was near on asleep until something grabbed my leg and pulled it straight. Jordan doesn't believe in ghosts and thought I was putting it on, but dear lord, I was not. I may stop going to the cinema, but I really don't want to. What'd you think? This is the latest thing that's happened to me.. |

it might not even be connected to the cinema, i'll bet there were a fair few people in screen 2 so why would whatever is there keep following you home. it could be something already in your home |

First off...welcome to the forum Becca.
Having the feeling of being watched would be a bit unnerving.
What can you tell us of the history of screen 2?
Do any of your other friends have these same feelings of being watched as well?
Gav may have a point here...could it be your own home that is "active"? |

Hey, thanks by the way.
I'll write about the history of it tomorrow, because it's Megan that knows all about it, so I'll have to ask her when she has the time, but I'll make sure to get it on here.
Also, I have the feeling of being watched again, and right now my hamster is staring at me, well past me, but near me, so that's also a little freaky, because when I first got him he never used to.
I went to talk to my brother earlier, but when I tried opening my bedroom door, it was like it was being held shut and I couldn't get it open, and then I left it for a few minutes and was able to open it. I keep thinking I see things in my mirror, because it's in front of me. My dogs have also started barking through the night, and we've had them for 2 years and they never used to, well not this bad anyway. Megan seems to think that there's something after me, that terrifies me, I personally don't like the feeling of being watched and tend to get upset everytime. I don't like being in my room on my own anymore.
Everything's hectic at the moment, I mean the whole ghosts thing, but I think it's because I'm now on school holidays so I'm at home more. I'll update again tomorrow - on here.. You people put me at ease, thank you <3 |

Hey becca , i lived in a place where i felt like i was being watched, it's not the nicest experience. Try not to get too freaked out as it probably won't help the situation (easier said than done), you could also try and do some research on your house or the local area. How long has it been since these things started to happen and was the rise in activity gradual or sudden ? I'm glad that we helped to put you at ease and i'm sure I can speak for bitterbuck when I say we'll try to help you as much as possible |

I'm not sure how much help I can be really...I for one have not had any experiences that mount to what some of you folks have incountered!
There have been quite a few members who have said to ask in a polite way that they (the spirits) need to leave the house.
Wouldn't hurt to possibly give it a try. What do you think Gav? |

Hey again, Megan's finally online so now I have some history about it, her sister knows more but she's not home at the moment..
there's a man called Derin who works at the cinema in the projection room for screen 2 and he knows for sure there's ghost there because
1) hes a medium and
2) they called in some people from a physic group and they did a saunonce and stuff like that
the ghost haunts screen 2 and the projection room for screen 2.
you can not show the movie omen in that screen because the ghost dont like it and they will pick up stuff and throw it and hurt people and stuff. there favourtie trick is to lurk in the corners of rooms (probably why my eyes were drawn to the bottom left of the room) and thee shadows and scare people the more worked up you get the more targets you get they like to throw food and move you stuff and crawl around your legs they can be VERY NASTY.
but wait ! there's more..
There was an Odditorium in Great Yarmouth on the east coast of England. It opened 1993 and it closed in 1997. It is now an indoor miniature golf course that actually uses some of the leftovers from the Odditorium as scenery for the holes which served as a result of many horrible deaths surrounded in mystery, as did the hollyowood cinema which is haunted by ghost in screen 2 and screen 2 projection room
there's more, but.. Megan wont tell me yet, she says that she can't tell me the next bit unless she's in the same room as me, so I'm going to hers tomorrow. I'll remember as much as I can though, promise. Oh, and I don't know if this links in with anything, but everytime I'm on my own, or I'm I don't know, laying down watching TV, I always end up crying. I don't know what it is, there's nothing wrong, I can be laughing one minute and then the next, just crying. Oh and the last tennant in my house died in the room I sleep in.. Just so you know. But she was an old lady, I'm going to go do some research on my area and my house, if it's possible.. |

If you're putting someone at ease then you're already helping bitterbuck . You are a regular on this forum and advice you have picked up can be used to help others , so stop putting yourself down
As for asking the (spirits) to leave politely, yes that's a good idea, it doesn't always work but is certainly worth a try.
Maybe because you got scared could be the reason why something followed you home if they tend to pick on people who get worked up Becca, although I would put my money on the old lady who died in your room. I don't think that it matters if she was an old lady or even if she was nice in life as sometimes spirits still think that it's still their home and see you as an outsider and want you out (so to speak). On the other hand they could just be trying to get your attention as they have unfinished business or need to get a message across.
I have heard that spirits can bring on emotions in people such as sadness , anger, depression etc but haven't experienced this myself. I remember the odditorium, i went there one year on holiday, it was quite a cool place but I didn't realise there have been deaths there.
Anyway, I'd try bitterbucks suggestion and try asking them to leave , and please keep us posted |

Hey again, a lot happened last night, it really creeped me out, but at the time I didn't care.
I asked whoever to leave, politely of course and then nothing happened until about 2am when I was talking to my boyfriend on the phone. We were arguing, like always, and then it just all hit me at once and I started crying, I hung up and curled up in to a ball on my bed. I felt a hand stroking my back softly like my mum would of done when I was little, I didn't care at the time because I was too upset. I stopped crying and the storking continued but on my head as the last few sobs came out. Then I laid down to go to sleep and I felt my foot being tickled, which was, well weird. I was nearly asleep and then I felt as if someone else was laying in my bed next to me with their arm over my stomach. It was really creepy but I didn't react - I was just too tired, I'm guessing my asking didn't make them leave? |

It seems like whatevers there went away until you got upset and then tryed to comfort you, so i would rule out the screen 2 phantom as the culprit. I'm still thinking it's the old lady though, when did all the activity start? |

well it all started when i moved in about 4 years ago, and i thought nothing of it, and then everything stopped, and it's all started back up again, but just worse this time. nothing happened last night, that i know of anyway, i remember waking up to my dogs barking at 2am again, but that's about it for last night. |

good 2 hear it's beginning to quieten down, mabe the spirit had all intentions to leave you alone but saw you was upset the other night and tryed to comfort you. It seems like it is an intelligent haunting rather than residual. I wonder what caused the activity to start up again? there are some theories out there as to what can cause activity to rise, but they are just theories. With a bit of luck maybe you the spirit wont bother you again but only time will tell |

hello again,
i'm now, very, i don't know.
Last night when i was half asleep it felt like my cheek was being stroked, and i thiiink i saw something move in the top left hand corner of my room, but that could of just been my imagination.. Alot of things in my room had been moved when i woke up, for example; my chair was behind my door instead of at my desk, my camcorders had been put on top of my cupboards facing the back wall, etc. just little things, my whole floor has been covered in my clothes as well, which is damning annoying because it took me long enough to get them into my cupboards in the first place ... maybe i'm just losing it and forgetting ? |

i suppose that's true too, but i just, i don't know. i guess something or someone could move them but i'm not sure. i was trying to get to sleep last night, and everytime i closed my eyes i thought i heard either screaming or someone saying my name, it was really freaky.
i'm going up into the loft later to pull some stuff out that the old ladies family didn't take because they couldn't be bothered to go up there, i'll let you know what i find when i find it.. |
